Gato is incredible. Back in 1977 I organized an outing with college friends from Chicago's University of Illinois. We saw him perform live in a small club named Ratso's in the Lincoln Park area. About 25 of us saw Gato live in this small venue. What an unforgettable experience!

This is one of the greatest sax records EVER! The whole thing is a treasure. I could listen to this record(and have)for days on end. Phenix is like that also just depends on what mood you're in. This record changed my life forever and made me a real sax player. I told Gato this when I meet him in Seattle. Sweet man and one of the greatest ever of course.
