When I first heard this song, nuit blanche 2010, I was accosted by a number of gangsters (black guys, fitted hats, bandadas, etc...) at nathan philips square. All they wanted to know was who was singing this song. I told them "Neil Young" and they had no idea who he was but started yelling out his name as if he was lil wayne or whoever they listened to. Glad to know that even his newest songs can inspire new fans from unlikely places!

Awesome song. Gotta buy the album...don't know why I've been passing it up for this long. Neil, being the "word man" that he is, (as Morrison might have said), is fascinated by shifting meanings and timeframes through a small change here and there in the wording, or even just where the pause comes between words. He seems to enjoy never singing or playing the same song the same way twice. Everything for him is "right now", not just a repetition of the past.
