how portable this piano really is? i am looking for a portable piano so that i can carry with me travelling on the train...i dunno if NP11 is easier to handle for this purpose but I play 61 key is probably too limited...any advice?

good day sir, lovely playing i have to admit :),

i play bass and the upright bass aswell and want to play some piano by the side, i am doubting between buying either this or the yamaha p70 witch i can get for 250 euro's second hand. the p70 has weighted keys and i wanted to ask, is that really that much better for the feel of it cause i read this one also has some graded keys or something how is that compared to weighted keys?

I reckon the p70 is worth getting because it's action is a lot better than the NP30. It's incredibly light and not at all like a real piano in any way

@CJay2303 Nothing. No EQ No extras. That's the sound of the piano when connected directly to the computer soundcard.

Colin, I'm thinking about buying that NP-30. Basically I'm not a pianist in any way shape or form, but I compose my own melodies and music and record them onto my computer (drums, bass and guitar).

I like the tone of this piano (especially in your rendition of the Family Guy theme tune), would you suggest that it would be a good purchase or is there better in the same price bracket?

Hi Ryan Well, I looked around and in this price range there is really nothing else comparable to the NP30...For a straight forward light weight but good sounding piano, this one is by far the best...Cheers-Colin
