  • Thats the funniest vid yet

  • Clearly there is no help for some people, you just have to stand back and watch the show. If you approach these silly people you will be told "We know what we are doing, we do this all the time". You notice the Dock Master is no where to be found. Even he is smart enough to go get a pizza and stay away from these knuckleheads. What's even more scary is that these people walk into voting booths! God help us all!

  • 5 bucks to launch thats a rip off its free to launch around here 4500 bucks for the boat u got screwed 1400 bucks for a transmission you really love to take it in the ass

  • Would of been funnier if you had sat in that white chair on the dock and filmed it!!!

    fishingboatingtasmania

  • jesus, that was the most painful thing I have ever seen. I am at several launches over the summer months and seen my share of disasters but this is by far the worst i've ever seen. These people are out on the water now? god help everyone on this lake, and to the person who made this video, hats off to you for filming and not helping, you can't fix this kind of stupid. Fantastic video.

  • Theres your problem right there. shes a women

  • Just think, they drove to get there and will be driving on a road near you.

  • They think they are so good by keeping there trailer dry poofs

  • it's obvious they were trying to not get the trailer wet

  • how dumb are they, having trouble launching a boat

  • stupied fuckin yanks

  • Haha

  • camera to far away

  • Why not back the boat in just a little bit farther buddy?

  • Seriously. What is so hard about launching this boat? I've been a boater for 15 years and I cannot understand what could possibly be complicating this process. Admittedly the camera view is from quite a distance. The fact is there are so many low IQ morons that we share this planet with. These people are a danger on the road and on the water.

  • amına koduğumunun gerizekalı ibneleri...

  • Maybe the should have disconnected the trailer and left it under the boat while they go fishing...makes sense to me. LOL

  • I go to the boat launch with my buddies, set up some good sittin chairs and a radio and crack open some beers and watch dumb asses. It’s a good way to spend a boring day.

  • Wat een baggerfimpje

  • You would not have to take all of your gear out of the boat to help him out!

  • Damn Vern...you forgot to take the rear tie down straps off! Makes me wonder how they are going to get it OUT of the water!

  • do they have any fricken brains at all?

  • GIVE ER HELL!!!

  • too far to see

  • it all happends at 8:31, hope it helped

  • AW FUCK IT! CAN'T GO BOATING TODAY BECAUSE WE CAN'T GET THE DAMN BOAT OFF THE TRAILER! Kids! Get in the boat we are going home! lmao

  • I seen something like this once. One of those low-rider trucks launched a big boat, and later couldn't pull it up the ramp. He had to lend his trailer to a real truck to get it on level ground.

  • you should probably press 9 unless u like looking at the same thing for 7 minutes

  • they didnt back it down in the water far enough lol ill bet the fuckin trailer straps are still on too lol... noobs

  • where was this shot at?

  • @iamsrt4 Land o' Lakes in Wisconsin.

  • you must have a sad life man..... ,,,

  • Lighten up Mr YouData it's just people poking fun at other people and no one got hurt. If the boat was sinking and people were in trouble then it is time to act. Sometimes no matter what advice or help you try to give people they can be ignorant and are going to do what their going to do. Oh and here is some advice for you STFU hater.

  • Well the story gets better because they forgot plug but remembered the beer. ROFL. You have to let NOOBS make their mistakes so they can learn and be better boaters. This wasn't life or death so why so critical mikkelskrev?

  • @blackops777 you also learn from advise dumb ass not only mistakes.

  • Dislike bar lightsaber!

  • don't even want to see them bait a hook

  • Careful dave. Someday one of those not so bright idiots might be the only people in sight when ya trip over your camera knocking yerself out, and fall overboard. Knowledge unshared is knowledge wasted. :) PS; ARRRRRRRRGH!

  • Nicely tortured sound effects though, plus, a running, quizzical commentary by the perceived experts....

  • suck it recorder

  • i just wished i could have been there to see them put it back on the trailer lol

  • looks like a bunch of monkey fucking a football.

  • The main question I have is why would you pull a boat trailer at all with a front-wheel drive shitbox van, let alone try to pull a boat out of the water with one.

People- if you're going to pull a boat of any significant size, get a truck. Preferably a 4WD for help on the ramps. Buy an old used one if money's tight, but don't try this with the FWD family car. For the cost of a transmission overhaul to that flimsy POS, you could buy an old 1/2 ton tow rig and be happy.

  • Should have got a better angle.

  • I don't understand. Why won't the boat slid off the trailer? You can't see enough from this distance and the dock is in the way. Also, to the O.P. stop making fun of people and go help, moron!

  • @Lehmann108 more then likely the boat was not far enough into the water to start with. IF you do it right then one person can launch- I do it every week end. Just make sure you do these two things- tie the boat off and take the keys with you.

  • I just don't understand what they are doing? are they afraid to get the trailer wet?

  • damn minivans.

  • that is what you get for towing with a van u safety freaks

  • your a fuckin idiot go over and help u fuckin c h

  • You can't help stupid.

  • Respond to this video... USA! USA! USA!

  • Next time, bring a damn truck. Not a damn van.

  • True at the last words!

  • poor tires....

  • Is is trying to get it on... or trying to get it OFF? LOL

  • Its a shame. You have these 40 something guys who waht to bond with there kids so they buy a $40,000 boat, dont even know how to start it much less drive it.Almost drive over you.Wake u out.You just want to take out your AR 15 and shoot their motor. Then you have these nice people who shouldnt own a boat.I have a 2 door 1991 toyota tercel and i pull a 14ft. flat with a 25 johnson. No problem.

  • this is just sad

  • too far away sorry can't make out anything

  • everybody starts somewhere. just learn from past experiences

  • submerge trailer, back van down into water about to back tires, i could launch that boat by myself and catch it as it comes off trailer.....wow!

  • I would give two good reasons why not to walk over & give advice to anyone. #1 They will just look at you stupid & do it their own way. #2 Even if you give them good advice & they do something stupid, they will end up taking you to court for causing damaging advice. Better to sit, drink a beer & watch.

  • They're trying to launch the boat??? I don't have the patience to watch the whole thing to see what they're trying to accomplish.

  • If you offered calm advice to these people on how to launch a boat, it wouldn't make much of a video. Thankyou for letting idiocy happen.....

  • i would have stayed there til they returned to see how they did coming back out.

  • There are some pretty FUCKED people out there.

  • ok i think they were just scared of getting the back tires of the front wheel drive car wet. i would hate to see how they got it back on the trailer.

  • Weight watchers, Brain transplant, DNA confirmation!! - should work!

  • I'm still trying to understand this rediculous performance.... I have never seen anything like this. I have seen boats sink once unloaded because someone forgot the plug(s). I have personally hung my trailer over a few ramps and had a time getting it back on the dry side but this is unbelievable..... . I also do agree with the fact someone could have been hurt. Awestruck!!!

  • LAUNCHING. unhook all the rear straps the back the boat part of the way in the water and start it, then unhook the front strap and back in more so the boat will float free.

RETREIVING, back the trailer into the water with the front of the trailer fenders sticking out of the water, then load the boat on the trailer, once it's on the trailer, put the front strap on and give the boat a bit of gas to help up the trailer while winding the strap, get it all the way on, lock the whinch and pull it out

  • @JoshWhitaker87 You put way too much work into launching and retrieving a boat. If you're good at it you don't need to "give it gas" to "help it on" or off the trailer. Enjoy running your motor in the sand and muck at the landing though. Your mechanic will thank you for the income.

  • @hpiguy not if the ramp is pure concrete or cement for one, and you put the trim up half way to avoid that crap and to avoid the motor draging or hitting the ground. if you don't give it gas putting it on the trailer then you put more stress on the strap than need be, and no need for gas getting it off the trailer. let it float off when u back it in a lil further.

  • @Mikkelskrev: I guess it depends on the trailer...If yours has rollers and tilts then I guess NOT getting the trailer wet is the way to go. In Florida most trailers would be float on, some are not.. I would say trailers for boats 21' or less don't have brakes...and those that do have a fresh water cleanout...must be regional as the type of trailers used.

  • @cfauvel I have rollers, but no tilt. The boat tilts it self into the water at an appropriate angle when it's rolled out, so I never had the need. When I load it, waves and wind don't affect it a lot, because the boat lifts off the water and onto the trailer as I winch in. Breaks on trailers are common from about 16 feet or ca 750 kg. Because of speed limits, lots of rainy days with slippery roads and a lot of steep ramps, it's practical to have breaks on the trailers in Norway/Sweden imho.

  • @mikkelskrev i dont know where your living but brakes on trailers arnt that common on little 16 ft boats here and also for these small 2 to 3 person boats rated with 25 horsepower motors they arnt usualy roller style trailers theyll have 1 line of rollers in the center to help center the boat when coming onto the trialer be for the most part the trailer goes in far enough that the person running the winch ends up with wet feat because the side supports are boards with plstic carpet on them

  • @Auszug21 I live in Norway and my boat is located by a river in Sweden, not to far from the lake Vänern. Anyway, trailers with rollers are the by far most comon around here, and they are really easy to load on/off without going/driving into the water. Because of speed regulations and slippery, steep roads, breaks makes sense from around 750 kg. As I posted before: Watch the promo video "Tysse små båthengere" by Sirentb and you'll see a launch/load on a roller trailer without submerging it.

  • @mikkelskrev i already know how my comment about float off trailers is strictly for these small boats because thats the style the people in the video have

  • @Auszug21 If that's the case, you are probably right it must be submerged. My comments was made from my experience with scandinavian roller trailer, whome should not go all in. Anyway, I doubt if submerging it would have helped them. Judging from the power they apply, the boat's probably strapped to the trailer. If not It would have moved from the trailer long before the tier post broke. Possibly causing damage to the trailer and / or boat, but still it would have given way.

  • @mikkelskrev ya those little aluminum boats usualy come off their trailers fairly easiy its gotta be strapped down still

  • dont use a minivan to transport a boat

  • @Mikkelskrev: Wow I think Rolls Traillers from Lakeland, Florida would make a killing in Sweden then. Imagine being able to fully submerse your trailer in the water to ge the boat off and on. The trailers, like someone else stated, are designed to be salt water safe, with some maintenance. The only caveat to that is the ramp would have to have enough ramp in the water to do this...if it drops off then you'll have a problem getting the truck/van out, when the trailer is past the edge...

  • @cfauvel I don’t really see the big gain in submerging my trailer. I just winch the boat on/off like you see in the vids I mentioned. It's easy. Perhaps floating on/off makes more sense on shallow sand beaches than on steep and rocky coasts? Besides, I wouldn't completely trust them to make the break systems on trailers 100% water proof and rust-resistant though. But perhaps it’s a lesser problem in the warm climate in Florida? Or is it that most US boat trailers didn't have breaks?

  • @Auszug21: Most of the trailers in florida are Float On, meaning you HAVE to ge the boat to float off and on.

  • If you search for "Tysse små båthengere" by Sirentb you'll se a standard launch and load without submerging the trailer. Also "Ta upp båt på trailer" by upptackbatlivet shows the same. The last one is in Swedish, but I would think it is undarstandable from the video alone. At 1.28 he explains how water should not to high on the wheels to avoid rust.

  • Can't see a damn thing.

  • WTF???

  • if they cant unload a boat they dont need to drive one go home sell it as the van tires need to get wet and boat is no floatin why hurt yourself when idiots dont know how to unload a boat.

  • these guys are like so many new boat owner wannabes...they use there nice new wagon to tow the boat and are too scared to get it's tires wet, I used to use an old work van that was high and dry all the time and did not worry about getting it a bit wet...after all it was going to carry smelly fishing gear and caught fish after ward...the idea is to is to back the boat in till it floats and then drive out...you can also get trailers with extension draw bars that put the boat out deeper..

  • @dancingman4u You can't fix stupid!

  • is the screeching from the mini van having the ebrake on and tyring to go forward???

  • did he fished ??

  • new generation are crayzy!! do more thanks!

  • What a dumbass i have never seen some body work so hard to get a boat in water. This guy is a danger to himself and others.

  • Did he untie it first

  • I love chillen at the boat launch..

  • god ive never seen such idiots trying to launch a boat in my life

  • so why doesnt he just back up enough to actually get the boat in the fucking water? it looks like the prop is barley hitting the water and hes trying to drive forward?

  • bet this guy whent and got some rollers for his tralier pmsl idiots

  • thats just painful to even watch

  • Never let the wife launch your baby into the water. I bet that dude learned that lesson quick!

  • bet the e brake is set ;P

  • one reason i will never own a mini van.

  • I love the fact that you just stayed put and kept filmning.. Icecold... ;)

  • OMG, put the boat in the watter and it will float off the damn trailer!

  • @WARFOX101 That's what I thought was going on. So, the guy is trying to launch the boat without getting the trailer wet? How do you make yourself get in the boat with that guy? If I was in his wife's shoes, I think I'd fish from the pier.

  • Never let a woman borrow your boat

  • i hope they forgot life jackets

  • Obviously scared of backing into to water like your supposed too. Retards!

  • Don't get involved, just document that's what I say. I love boating!!!

  • You watch this unfold, but instead of walking over and offer some calm advice, you sit still and film it? The way they went about it, it could easily have lead to someone getting seriously injured. Why on earth would you choose to ridicule them instead of helping them?

  • @mikkelskrev I agree with you 100%. But at the same time doesn't it seem too you that things like this seem to be going all over America. I mean people who care about their wants and desires. See this guy need a funny video at anyone's cost. Boy would I love to be there when it comes back to bite him in the arse.

  • @mikkelskrev learning from your mistakes is the best possible teacher if they didnt know how to properly get the boat off the trailer in the first place are they really the right people to be using a boat in the first place? its not that hard of a concept, boat floats. trailer doesnt maybe im supposed to back up enough so the boat floats right off the trailer!

  • @Auszug21 So your take on life is that people should never help each other and never give each other advice or learn from each other in any situation, because "learning from your mistakes is the best possible teacher" ? So much for education then? Anyway; my point is that you simply cannot sit calmly and watch something like this unfold. If a wire breaks while stretched by the car and boat engine like that, it could cause serious harm, even death to anyone in range of its lash.

  • @Auszug21 BTW: It looks as if a strap is still on or the winch is locked or possibly even jammed. Going further into the water could case even more problems. I would never run the trailer so far into the water that the boat floats off it. Water could damage the lights on the trailer and cause rust or corrosion on the breaks, particularly in saline waters. I go "far enough" and winch it out until the bow is in the water. If there's current or wind, the trailer and winch keeps the boat in place.

  • @mikkelskrev I get in the boat, some one backs my truck into the water, with the winch unhooked. Boat floats, start motor, reverse, and PRESTO.... its launched. Takes all of about 30 seconds

  • @bertman668 That'll work, until you do it in a river or port with wind or current, and your engine fails to start at the go. It's a rather sinking feeling to be afloat in the current fighting to start the engine in time not to crash into anything. I'd spend the extra 2 minutes to winch it out. If the engine "argues" with you, the trailer keeps the bow in place until you've got it running. And you can always winch it back on if there's a real problem or a queue and you need more time to work it.

  • @mikkelskrev i take the position in life that people that dont know what they're doing should learn before they go out and do it, btw you are way off on proper procedure the wiring and lights are all marirne based they are made to get wet and resist corrosion and unless your run a huge ass boat the trailer doesnt have brakes not to mention for any boat bigger then the aluminum ones you have to go in just enough that it starts to float they keep it under control by using a guide line

  • @Auszug21 based off how your reacting im begining to think that your the guy in the video

  • @Auszug21 First you say people should learn by making mistakes (“the best teacher”), and now you say people should learn before they go out and do it. How can you learn from your mistakes if you learn everything before you do it? It seems to me you are fishing for arguments to make it seem just and fine to be sitting still and watch a possible accident in the making without helping. They obviously should have learned a few things first, but as it was, they should have been helped, not filmed.

  • @Auszug21 Float off trailers obviously goes all in. I'm not sure how common float offs are here in Scandinavia thou. It seems to me it is mostly roller trailers here, where you simply winch the boat in/out. Breaks on trailers are quite common in Norway. Boat trailers with no breaks increase break length dramatically in slippery conditions and there are speed limits without breaks. Rust is a real issue. It's not pleasant when your safety breaks won't release after winter storrage because of rust.

  • @mikkelskrev i completley get your point! we went tubing last year and my little brother cut himself and we knew it would need stitches... our boat the sarzach2 is a fiberglass , nice, EXPENSIVE boat. well these two peoplewere standing by when we got back to the launch and my dad had me and my friend hold the boat and we were ok but anywas it was hard. we r 11 and 10. then two ppl showed up and just stred at us. when we asked whee the hospital was we got an umm.. i dont know sorry though.

  • @mikkelskrev Because there are at least 3 grown men "handling it" and the video is taken from a boat, so unless you are jesus, "walking there" would be difficult to say the least. Bitch.

  • @senhuan you may be right. There may not be another pier on the left hand side (as I initially thought there may have been). I really liked the way that observation made you come up with the amazing argument: I was in a boat, so I couldn't possibly go across water... Priceless! By the way: I really liked the way you ended your comment. Made you come across as a mature and sensible person. How nice.

  • @mikkelskrev

Dude taking the pics, succesfully launched his boat and has his poles, lures, and ancors set. Stop his rig, pull out all his geer, dock and then help these idiots. I don't think so. Don't buy a boat and think it's so simple. I'd be so afraid of them on the water. Guess what? Boat launch idiots are like Asian Carp!

  • @davidchesney and instead of helping them so they wont be a boat launch idiot, you sat back, ridiculed them and let them do it again some day.

i wonder which is worse.... boat launch idiots or boat lauch jackasses

  • @krondax I always offer to help, half the time I am told to butt out. I would rather see an idiot stuck on the bank than one that I might have to rescue off the water.

  • @davidchesney They're like Asian Carp? Delicious?

  • @davidchesney theyre like asain carp in the sense that you wanna hit em in the face with a bat

  • u forgot "set of front tires: $450"

  • this gets to the point that I question if I want to be grouped in the same species as these people.

  • Thank god for hillbilly buck and inbread shela. Awesome vid.

  • Obviously not qualified to launch boats. But boat launches are great entertainment and a good place to have a beer and a chuckle as long as I am not waiting for the dog and pony show get over in order to launch/retrieve.

  • If I would have sat and watch this happen I would have blown up! I always seem to get behind these people at the boat ramp. A 2 min task turns into 30 min. People of youtube and fellow boaters, please get your boat ready to launch before you get to the ramp!

  • idiots

  • arr after all that. he didnt have to do all that he made it so hard for himself god i fuckin hate dickheads like that who dont know what theyre doing. USE COMMON SENSE reverse the god dam thing further into the water for a start it seemed like it was dry as a fucking arab! its a buoyant object it will float for god sake reverse it in further and let it float of the trailer DUMBASSES! god

  • Use A truck!!! If you pull a trailer use a TRUCk you DUMB FUCK! Not a damn pitty wagon you dick licks.

Hey btw, we arent at a damn soccer game, so you might be at the wrong place. There are two things i hate-rowdy's and vans...especially mini-vans

  • stupid!!!!!, man if i was there i would have gone over there and gave them a beating.then took his bass boat.

  • Thanks for the big finale post breakage.. u got one burst of laughter from me.

  • wow the boat isnt in that much of water so it cant float off the trailer

  • Of course it's a woman...

  • let the air out of front tires

  • they weren't even backed far enough in to the water

  • O M G .... I can think of at least 50 different ways to have gotten the boat off the trailer that did not involve squealing the tires or tie up and break posts on the dock...

  • Maybe the fat guy in the boat should have gotten out first

  • this is why they make 4x4

  • @Schmittypballn exactly, couldn't agree more mate. 4x4 also allows you to launch from multitude of places, like beach for example.

  • The bales of cocaine in the boat were just way too heavy.

  • Thats why you shouldn't buy a fuckin mini-van

  • i cant freakin belive it!!!! outa the 467billion sperm in there daddys nuts these where the smartest, fastest, best sperm there where!!! what the fuck!!! there parent should chose abortion...can these idiots even feed themselvs???

  • @ratmandoo73 I wouldn't be too quick to make fun of people, not with such horrible spelling and grammar.

  • i cant freakin belive it!!!! outa the 467billion sperm in there daddys nuts these where the smartest, fastest, best sperm there where!!! what the fuck!!! there parent should chose abortion...can these idiots even feed themselvs???

  • They should all be arrested.

  • . . . and you wonder how the boat launches get all torn up, and docks broken for the rest of us!?

  • is that a mini van

  • How did you keep a straight face to record this vid? I would be laughing my head off in the background!

  • all u have to do is reverse fast and give your brakes a hard hit and she'll kick off fine...and even then thats not even needed.....

  • water float pysics come on guys...really?

  • @BumpNtheNight1

    pysics?? spell much?

  • great video man ..what the fuck was his guys problem ? was he afraid to get the tires wet on the trailer ?i would have went and sat on the closer dock and filmed it from there and made sure i got their names so the man of that household would/take full credit for being a complete piece of shit ....""fuck yo minii van !"

  • Whats more amazing is that they made it to the lake

  • @10Bdog10 That is more scary than amazing! The thought of them operating a boat is not good LOL!

  • this is one of those things were you say ''if i hadn't seen it i would never believe it '' , but i have seen things almost as funny at the quabbin reservoir over the yrs ,,, thanks , for making me feel superior ,,,,

  • Maybe I'm wrong but it looks like they are trying to leave and the trailer tire is off the side of the ramp so it won't pull out with that light van pulling.

  • i just dropped at least 10 IQ points watching them. -facepalm-

  • That Honda Odyssey's tranny and front tires are shot to shit

  • All they need to do was go back maybe another 5 feet. Towing with a minivan is fine but you cant launch a boat when is not in the water. The boat is not even floating yet and they try to get it off. Leason to learn dont buy this boat from these people

  • Towing with FWD Minivans. WTF

  • F.I.B's

  • New set of tires each time they go boating!

  • wow...maybe if you let the boat into enough water to make it float it will come off...had to suck to put it back on the trailer how they did it

  • that is funny stuff

  • Can it get any windier? look at that current.

  • They trying to launch the boat or remove it from the water?

  • TLDR

  • what SeaWolfe59 said!!

  • Is 9 mins,12 seconds really necessary to make the point?
