@nickjpass No, You have VFR minimums which is 1000 and 3 or simply 1000 foot ceiling and 3 nautical miles of visibility so for instance if the ceiling which is the base cloud layer is better *higher than 1000' and the visibility 3 miles or better than it's VFR *visual flight rules, if the celing goes below 1000' or visibility is less than 3 you HAVE to be flying IFR *Instrument flight rules.
Not all that good of a video with the bullshit music...cant hear the radio traffic or the engine. I shut it off before it was 15 seconds into the vid...as I would bet others do also.
@shooteraod I think his 15,896 viewers would have to disagree. Also, he may be low on the PAPI because he dropped down to his MDA as soon as possible to get out of the soup. Just a thought. Awesome video and music!
@laxman888 a 4 year old video and it ONLY has 15,897 views...hmmmmm...you might want to rethink that music crap. Check out the view count on other vids under IFR that dont have music...big difference...B I G!!
I have flown only 152's and they have never had music come out of them...is it only Pipers you hear music when flying them ? And that must be a hazard in a way as you cannot hear the sounds of the eng. !
personally i find the music rather entrancing...

This is probably a stupid question but do you need a Instrument Flight Certifiable to fly IFR ?
nickjpass 9 months ago
@nickjpass extremely stupid

@Swandogg16 I mean like, if you were flying and then bad weather came in would you be in some sort of trouble with the law?
