Hey Adrian. As soon as you started to decribe the keynote, i knew which quote you were going to...quote, i think maybe i've watched the keynotes a few too many times :)
This is really a good group. I also get the feeling that Steve is truly passionate really believes in that quote. Even though the bio wasn't the best writing, you get a sense of who Steve was and it's endearing to see his youngster convictions carried on through his whole life.
I liked it when Steve said, 'We do it for the crazy ones....the creative spirits in this world.'' It went something like that. I think it was in the 1997-1999 timeframe.
@Zcow29 He is not a fanboy...just because he has apple posters, stickers, and also the brown box his first apple computer came in, it doesn't make him a fanboy!
"Can anyone tell me what MobileMe is supposed to do?" When one foolhardy exec explained the aim of the service, Jobs shot back: "So why the fuck doesn't it do that."
There's really no such thing as a stupid question. Things were less obvious back then, this was at least 4 years ago. Mac sales were a fraction of what they are and the halo effect from iOS devices hasn't set it. I'm glad such a question was asked, because it shows the ethics of Apple.
That's a good question, at least I think so
