@lilbam19 There are a lot of CJ haters, I give CJ his respect. I wouldn’t consider CJ a smarter player then AP because he avoids contact though. It comes simply down to different running styles. I would never consider a player unintelligent because they make contact with other players. Would you consider Jerome Bettis aka the Bus, a stupid player for making contact? No because that’s just his run style. AP used power running to affect defenses physically as well as mentally.
In my opinion Adrian Peterson is much better, he has corrected his fumbling problem. It's really sad that he tore his ACL. But I think he is a much better back, Chris Johnson hasn't done anything since he got that money. If you watch CJ's highlights he has unbelievable blocking.
@Essential25x it is sad that ap tore his acl, but thats one of tha reasons cj is better cause he knows how to avoid contact, where asd ap looks for contact, thats y cj will last longer than ap because he is a smarter running back, its not about running people over
Ap has everything johnson has n has power. What made him fumble is he runs wild n aggressive. Now tht he isn't carrying the ball like a loaf of bread he doesn't fumble. But even with the fumbles id take him over cj
@bleebleblabble72 cj is tha best back ever in my opinion, much better than peterson, and better than sanders. and if u take a fumbling ap then thats u. but johnson is more productive and u can trust on him more, he is more patient much quicker and explosive than ap. and like u said he runs wild and sanders did as well. johnson is so smooth and fast and has power people dnt give him credit for
@lilbam19 Yeah you're right, numbers don't lie, Peterson has had amazing statistics every year he's been in the league, Johnson has had one 2000 yard season, which, while well deserved, does not define him as being the best runningback or even the better runningback (than AD). If you want to declare a player to be the present best player off a past event than I can easily declare Peterson the better player based off his 2007 record breaking game against San Diego.
"You can't be the best when you fumble that much" Walter Payton- 30 fumbles in his first 3 years. Barry Sanders-19 fumbles in his first 3 years.Gale Sayers-19 fumbles in his first 3 years. Adrian Peterson-20 fumbles in his first 3 years... and @ 3:09 " Chris Johnson can do what no other runningback can do, hes a threat to score everytime" ... Peterson wouldn't be the #1 ranked non qb player if he wasnt a threat to take it to the house on every play. if Johnson is Sonic than Peterson is Megaman

N negative yards from a back don't mean anything. Barry sanders has the most negative yrd carries by any rb in history n he's the best of all time

@lilbam19 Johnson is definitively not more trustworthy...........ap isn't afraid to hit like johnson.

Adrian cut his fumbling problem. Only 1 statistical fumble.

To say Adrian Peterson has a problem with fumbles is ridiculous...lets see...
Walter Payton-first 4 seasons-35 fumbles,45 TDs
Emmitt Smith-23 fumbles,50 TDs
Barry Sanders-25 fumbles,52 TDs
Jim Brown-23 fumbles,45 TDs
Adrian Peterson-21 fumbles,52 TDs...
I say hes on the right track to be the best ever...
cj has no class and is going to be a over payed, little bitch, bust
