@sldscrapper twin turbos will offer u more hp and give u more flexibility but the superchargers are cheaper and the diffirence between gaining hp is not that much so if u have the extra monet definantly go with the twin turbos

The turbo is mounted a little high because there isn't a lot of room between the engine and the frame rails , but the turbo is setup just like any other under hood turbo setup. It is intercooled, it's just hidden well.

Yes you are wrong. The engine in the truck has lowered compression, it's not running the stock compression. Thats how the truck runs 26psi on 93 pump gas. Plus he has a stand alone fuel and spark management system on the truck which means he has total control of his fuel and spark maps.
Yeah they did a dyno run, I'm told is was somewhere near 1080hp to the wheels vs the 1011hp with the single turbo setup. If you watch the videos of him trying to break into the 9's it looks like the twin turbo setup jumped his torque way up over the single turbo setup.
He dude cool vid, but I have to disagree a 6.0 makes up a 383 in other terms yes it did come from a chevy 350, the 350 was stroked to a 383. Cause a Ford 400M (name of motor and also 400ci) is a 6.6.
My apologies, I meant to say 6.0 LS2. His engine is based off of the 6.0 LS2, but it's bored and or stroked to a 408ci. That and chevy hasn't made the 350 for a while, all the LS1's are 346ci and the LS2's are 364ci. The LT1's are 350's, and were the last ofthe 350's.

Look it up because you've got alot to learn about GM and it's engines. Yes you can buy "346 retro badges" because people are swapping LS1's into muscle cars, yet one more thing you should learn before popping off at the mouth when you know nothing about it.

Dude, that turbo would never spool on your R32, the engine is too small. You would have to spray the hell out of the lower RPM band with Nitrous to get it to do anything. The Turbo runs $2,000-$3,000 by its self.
Your not very wise. Single turbo supra's spool with 100mm turbos with .2L less diplacement. It's a matter of not being able to spool its how long it will take.
Do you need me to send you Toyota Supra's running GT47-80's and 88's on the street I am in no way referencing a methanol burning or VP import only car.
I know but damn, thats alot of Turbo. I guess the line between race car and street car has blurred alot more than when my dad used to race. Point well taken. Buddy of mine is going to try and run a GT35R on his 2.4L GS-T and keep it streetable, so we'll see.
But the amount of exhaust gas needed to get a turbo that big to spool would be insane. You would probably have to get it well above 7,000 RPM or higher to get it up to speed, and sit there for a minute before you could launch. If you had a massive turbo and a tiny engine, the engine just might not make enough exhaust to spin the turbo at any reasonable speed.
Be aware that these are jappanese cars. There are 1.8L Honda setups that hit 10k rpm with a gt42r and have a nasty top end it keeps going and going. Mind you these cars I'm speaking of are 9 second street cars in SFWD class in the NHRA.
Let me see if I can get this right- if you double the liters of the engine, you can cut the RPM in 1/2 to maintain the same amount of exhaust. I think that that would work.... So that means that my Caddy engine would only have to rev to 2500RPM to make the same amount of boost. So if I revved higher, I'd be able to spin the turbos faster and make even more boost. So, even after it took the other car 5 minutes to spool up, I'd still be able to make more power (boost).
6.0 Liter LS1 V8, 4L80E Tranny, Heavy duty Transfer case, T76 turbo, Dual stage nitrous kit, and an upgraded fuel system with mega-squirt tuning. Not sure about the launch control, I think he just drops it in 4x4 after he warms up the tires and launches it.
That amount of power is mad! Btw, its not a 4 wheel drive :) If it wsa, it would have to be on a 4 wheel drive rolling road! How do I get a sponsor? :D
The Truck IS 4 wheel drive sparky. It has part time 4x4 that he can turn on and off. The dyno he uses is only a 2 wheel drive dyno so he puts the truck in 2 wheel drive, but when he races the truck is always in 4x4 or it would just burn the rear tires off. Trust me, I know.
all i can say is...wow. thats pretty insane. good work on that truck, maybe once youll get the front end off the ground, ive seen in the dragraces you guys have on here that it almost does a wheelie, nice job.

Dude, that turbo would never spool on your R32, the engine is too small. You would have to spray the hell out of the lower RPM band with Nitrous to get it to do anything. The Turbo runs $2,000-$3,000 by its self.

R32 golfs are 3.2L it's very possible but wont be responsive as so.

Your not very wise. Single turbo supra's spool with 100mm turbos with .2L less diplacement. It's a matter of not being able to spool its how long it will take.

I know but damn, thats alot of Turbo. I guess the line between race car and street car has blurred alot more than when my dad used to race. Point well taken. Buddy of mine is going to try and run a GT35R on his 2.4L GS-T and keep it streetable, so we'll see.

But the amount of exhaust gas needed to get a turbo that big to spool would be insane. You would probably have to get it well above 7,000 RPM or higher to get it up to speed, and sit there for a minute before you could launch. If you had a massive turbo and a tiny engine, the engine just might not make enough exhaust to spin the turbo at any reasonable speed.

Be aware that these are jappanese cars. There are 1.8L Honda setups that hit 10k rpm with a gt42r and have a nasty top end it keeps going and going. Mind you these cars I'm speaking of are 9 second street cars in SFWD class in the NHRA.

Let me see if I can get this right- if you double the liters of the engine, you can cut the RPM in 1/2 to maintain the same amount of exhaust. I think that that would work.... So that means that my Caddy engine would only have to rev to 2500RPM to make the same amount of boost. So if I revved higher, I'd be able to spin the turbos faster and make even more boost. So, even after it took the other car 5 minutes to spool up, I'd still be able to make more power (boost).

6.0 Liter LS1 V8, 4L80E Tranny, Heavy duty Transfer case, T76 turbo, Dual stage nitrous kit, and an upgraded fuel system with mega-squirt tuning. Not sure about the launch control, I think he just drops it in 4x4 after he warms up the tires and launches it.

The Truck IS 4 wheel drive sparky. It has part time 4x4 that he can turn on and off. The dyno he uses is only a 2 wheel drive dyno so he puts the truck in 2 wheel drive, but when he races the truck is always in 4x4 or it would just burn the rear tires off. Trust me, I know.

all i can say is...wow. thats pretty insane. good work on that truck, maybe once youll get the front end off the ground, ive seen in the dragraces you guys have on here that it almost does a wheelie, nice job.

It's a T76 Turbo from Combination motorsports, but it isn't mine bro, I wish. I'd kill to have a truck like that. I'm just a fan, and keep up with it's progress.
