That was a debate? Blitzer let each of them make a brief statement, hardly worthy of "debate" label.

As for the candidates themselves, Huckabee and Richardson are two of my favorites at the moment. I think having the two of them at the top of their party's tickets would be one of the best-case scenarios for the general election in 2008.

How about a compromise?

We repeal the 14th amendment which allows 'anchor babies' of illegals, and then have a national health care plan for all Americans.

That's what they do in Canada, Europe and every other industrialized country.

Huckabee ignores the fact that immigrants take jobs away from Americans. He wants less illegal immigration and more legal immigration. The effect is still the same: Americans will lose their jobs.

Huckabee is what we need, practical solutions and common sense.

Bil Richardson seems like a really great guy but I do not think me and him would agree on the issues.
