Gt 5 looks like a great game but it haveing no tyremarks on the road and crappy looking tyre smoke is the same as Gran Turismo 1 otherwise the graphics look amazing!

now this is a game that is really a drivers game. not this nfs and juiced etc bullshit. the nfs prostreet had a good physics in the grip races but in drifting all you had to do was steer the car.

This game is just you n d car, and that shows that you really are awesoem in this game, a very awesome video.

at first i didnt make very high scores either, but progressively i caught up on it, you have to figure out how the point system works and put the driving line on and keep the middle of your front wheels directly on it while drifting smoothly and fast

what is the damn trick to drifting someone please tell me cos im losing my mind over it. in this vid like the first corner if i try and do a weight transfer the car spins wildly out of control and its ticking me off. i've practiced and practiced but its just not going smoothly for me.

there is no tricks, you need a steering wheel with 900 degrees of rotation, some pedals, a clutch is also good to have, a car with the engine in front and rwd, and then you need skills

remember that once you start drifting all the control is in the steering and gas. if you hold the gas too much then your car might spin out like you said. so to prevent that use a little less gas and counter steer a bit to prevent spinning but you need to maintain the slide using gas. experiment a bit. a trick i used to learn this was listening to how the cars sound when they drift in real life. so i understand how much gas to use hope this helps

Go to your local gamestop and pick you up an xbox 360, and get your preorder for forza motorsport 3, where there is real drifting where you have to actually tune your car to drift and you are not given a mode that makes drifting easier because during a race all youg otta do is press left on teh d pad and you can see your drifting score. october 27th yes

dude your dumb man you actually have to tune your car in gran turismo to drift also and the drift mode is the same physics as race mode...and drifting is way more realistic in gt5 then in forza so far...i was using a steering wheel with 900 degrees of rotation way btter then the piece of crap wheel on the xbox, and forza dosent even let you adjust the steering angle of the car, thats 1 of the most important thing to do in professionnal drifting...
