Kinda long, but thorough. I'll wanna watch this again. I didn't realize u could use immersion blender in hot sauces. --For the BASIL--here in Chicago, we can't grow such things year-round, sometimes we can buy a few leaves for several dollars at this one store, and often these leaves r wilted. Towards video's end, I see u growing a plant indoors. Guess I'll just need 2 do without basil?
Its wrong to be disrespectful of those who make these videos. Why would u wanna discourage them? Good video.
I like your video. People don't seem to understand that what makes a recipe great is not the ingrediants that you use, but what you do with them. Whether they be canned or fresh tomatoes, most canned tomatoes are cut from their plant and canned within hours, which keeps the freshness of the fruit, compared to those fresh ones in the store where people keep touching them and coughing on them and whatnot. Keep up with your recipes, they look great.
@underpedz818 If you all took time to watch the video you could have heard the part where I said" you can use fresh tomato but Hunts has a specific taste that I like because the tomatoes are sitting in their juices" & I (& everyone else that has used his sauce) like the taste.
No one is forcing you to watch this video or make the recipe. Get over yourselves.
PS Ta Ta Queen. To make your sauce thicker you would cook it longer, not leave the tomatoes chunky. also cutting the whole tomatoes and removing the seeds helps reduce the bitterness of the sauce. :O)
@DeadElvisghost ....Obviously you could do either one; it depends on the type of thickness you are looking for. Your immature comments aren't wanted here. If you want to act like a child, take it elsewhere.

Are you kidding? Authentic Marinara Sauce with canned Tomatoes, not to mention they are 99 cent tomatoes. Please never invite me to your house for pasta. But good attempt at getting a sponsor.
@DeadElvisghost You're entitled to your opinion but I let my sauce speak for itself. If you paid attention, I acknowledged that you can use fresh tomato but the sauce using tomatoes from the can provides a different taste. I like it, everyone else I know that has tried it liked it. I don't care about sponsorship so I don't know what you were getting at. Don't knock it until you've tried it.
Also, don't worry about being invited to my house. I don't invite rude people into my house. :)
would taste better if cooked topless...

I'm sure it's tasty, but DON'T call it 'scratch' when using canned tomatoes.

@karlitakupcake I'm sure it would taste alright still but I think the last can is what gives it it's final texture.
