I have questions, I'm a very petite size person. Should I still take 2 capsules 3 times a day? And do you think my body could handle that much capsules a day? Please let me know. Thanks.
My ob/gyn suggested Dong Quai to me because I did not want to take birth control to get my period back on track.
I have been taking dong quai for about 2 weeks now, and I would like to know how long does it actually take effect and when i begin to notice the change??
very informative ...in a very popular vitamin OPTI-WOMEN there is 80mg dong quai, will that still be safe for women to take during their period?? or they shouldnt take it?
Yay! How fun to have this great herb in your garden. :) It is hard to say why your cycles have changed. A lot of times when people make lifestyle changes, the body takes some time to adjust and this may show up as a wacky cycle for a couple of months.
I grow this in my herb garden. I haven't harvested it yet, but this year it is producing seeds!! Yay so I will have many Angelica plants in the future. Question, I've been changing my diet and have experienced weird cycles, 2 x a month instead of once for the last 2 months. I had a sneaking suspicion I may have uterine fibroids but I haven't any way to substantiate that. It is just since I started eating healthier, it sparked a reaction, hormonal change. Oh and I started to exercise. Thoughts?
thanks so much for this, it was very helpful

@jolinax What is your weight? Most adults, unless you are smaller than a 12 year old, generally can use the same amount of herbs.
