saw these in london or kent ? cant remember where ,so many gigs and things going on in those days 76/77/78 ?? that I cant remember ,I still have my little snuff rock badge !
Saw them a few times in the early 70s, first time was an all-nighter at Brunel Uni headlined by the Groundhogs. In those pre-Snuff Rock days they used to do Anadin plus things like Jesus Wept (now that I've found Jesus, I don't smoke dope no more), Dead Meat, Old Trust and Mandrax Sunset Variations
I saw them at the Roundhouse back in the mists of time - Devo were their warm up doing the British debut - they were knock out to. Anybody got any more vidoes....
i saw them in 1977 in open de beuk is a youthcenter in middelburg (nederlands)and loved it , its oke that the still play , is very cool afz john de looff stiens
Live at the Black Swan in Sheffield, the week after Feelogood had BLOWN THE PLACE AWAY. Awesome!! My favorite memory was Jimi Hendrix live at Woodstock playing "The Theme Tune from The Archers".
Read When We Were Thin and you'll find out why there might, or might not, be a reunion tour! Also when you buy the book from the cplee website you get the Sight and Sound dvd (you have to ask for it)! Cheers CP
many thanks - i will check it out - I have seen your website before - although a while ago.
i did acquire mandrax sunset variations recently and more impressively the best of cd - don't ask the price :-( over 30 quid second hand is the average price these days.
