  • ... HOLY FRIGGIN' CRAP! I've officially been out-freaked!

  • I just wanted you to be aware of Ehler-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) because it's often not diagnosed and most of this kind of double jointedness is EDS it's just not diagnosed..Please read about it. Thank you.

  • ah sure why would you like to find some way syndrome thing about flexibilty to make fun of him...he is just flexible..GET OVER IT!

  • I posted this information not to make "fun" of anyone, but to bring awareness and education to this person and those that read this. There is "NO" such thing as "JUST" flexible. There is "ALWAYS" an underlining cause for this flexibility (called "joint hypermobility syndrome"). (continued)

  • Which is a genetic cause that affects the genes that are responsible for the production of collagen (important connective tissue proteins) that gives strength and toughness to the body. The "glue" that holds the body together (especially the joints). (continued)

  • This causes the proteins to form differently and the results are mainly felt in the "moving parts" - the joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments - which are more lax with excessive motion and more fragile than is the case for most people. (continued)

  • The result is joint laxity with hypermobility and with it comes vulnerability to the effects of injury. This genetically-based conditions which differs not only in the particular protein affected, but also in the varying degrees of flexibility. (continued)

  • The medical field NOW has good evidence, that the Benign Joint Hypermobility Syndrome (BJHS) and Ehlers-Danlos Hypermobile Type (formerly EDS III), maybe one and the same disorder. So...walltowallilovechris...you really need to read about this and educate yourself...you have a nice day now!

  • @EhlersDanlosEDS man, whats this syndrome thing? some of my friends(bboys) can do this so called double jointed and they trained hard for this thing for years! its not natural, its achieveble! and noone of them comlains about some irresistable pains - its part of hatha yoga system too!
