Lyrics!
@saffonia Of course..!! In a dream, that your image enchanted I dreamt the happiness, burning mirage.. Your eyes were so sweet, your voice pure and rich, You were shining like the sky lit by dawn.. You called me and I left the earth For leaving with you towards the light.. The skies for us opened their clouds, Unknown splendors, divine places to meet.. Hélas! (oh, no!) Sad awakening from dreams!! I call thee, O night, bringback your lies, Come back, come back radiant, Return, O mysterious night!
this is a illusion like tv games or movies worlds. they doesnt excist we are in this boring world and we are going to die here and get buryd in dirt and let worms and magots eat os. sounds nice huu.........................
@sk8channel100 what you mean an illusion.?Dreams at night are.But your awaken hours are not illusions.People enjoy and make money, spending money they work for is a joy to have.Until it is my time for heaven I will enjoy his music. No illusion there.
The French, at the turn of the 20th century were really on top of understanding how modal harmony could be used to propel music forward into a whole new world of expression. They affected nearly everything that came after them, including Jazz. Faure, Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc had the ability to dress a simple melodic line in such a way as to create a completely unique character.
I don't think it's too fast at all. If you make it slower than that the piece will sound like its dragging. I've heard it both ways and I like it in this tempo. Joshua Bell puts his whole body into the music and the emotion he adds to the music becomes a portal into the brilliance and beauty of a true masterpiece. (sorry I got carried away ^^) Joshua Bell ROCKS!!
@ClarinetJason You say it's to fast but I don't recall that you wrote the piece of music. I can understand why you prefer to play it slower but people can play it whatever way they prefer.
I love this interpretation of Faure's wonderful song. The octave-lower section at 0.53 is particularly stunning for me! I'm having to play this for the trombone, so I'm trying to expose myself to as many interpretations as possible- it's rather enjoyable to say the least!
no no no....i love the effect it gives it...what i meant is that i hate having to shift..even tho i almost gott it mastered...its challenging...but i still love the sound.. :)
Nice, but Janine Jansen sounds about 10 times better and makes this guy sound like a beginner.
