U2 have been with me since I was a boy growing up-they've weathered all those years and have been a source of strength when I had none. If I could say thank you I would, but I know I'd be in a very long line of people. It's being there with them at the concerts that makes the difference, feeling the atmosphere, knowing everyone standing with you feel the emotions of the lyrics & chords and that at some point they've switched off to everything else & just ramped the volume up. You know looking back on these old ZOO TV shows and the astonishing quality of almost every one of them it sometimes seem like U2 are actually STILL in the shadow of this period somehow. Thats how good they were around this time. I like the seemingly effortlessness nature of the ZOO performances and the way everything seemed to just work so perfectly. I find the 360 shows a bit strained, like there's too much shit going on..and the songs are not as strong of course
