A quick FYI... we actually DON't have the same rights that straight people do. There are (now) only 2 states that recognize same-sex marriages. With countless more that strictly forbid it in their constitution and do not recognize them from other states. After all, anti-gay sodomy laws (which were punishable as a felony in some states) were only overturned by the Supreme Court in 2003! And if one person can convince me how gay marriage will destroy a society in any way, I'm all ears.
