Do you guys actually try out the maps we send in for the mappers application?

No, there was never any time to test out each and every one of the maps made by the applicants. Maps added into the game are ones that have been planned altogether by the Staff. It's the Mapper's job to create the maps asked for.

Your objectives are to give you a good start and improve on Mapping. Your applications won't neccesarily be added into the game. Only one exception was made, my Johto Safari map and even that map isn't professional. Just do your best and we'll see what happens.

what do i do if i make a mistake?

Use the FIRST grass tile in the palette at the same layer as the one tile you placed by mistake. It can delete anything misplaced in your maps.

thanks, but if i the thing i erase is in mid layer, then i wont be able to put anything in base layer :S so ill try to not mistake :P

Actually, what I just told you fixes that too. Once you erased it with that grass tile I told you, you will still be able to place anything in any layer in that same spot.
