in the modern world most people learn a form of martial just so they can fight or be prepared to fight if they need to, and people say that karate is the best martial art... karate was just made by a chineese warlord around 800ad to win battles, martial art should be about your mind and thoughts and your surroundings its a shame kids go into this with the mind frame of kicking some1s ass when in reality it should be about your mind not your fists

yes the master is great! but karate is a better form of martial art then tkd will not the kickboxing shit they teach at tigerwhatever but the real karate like shotakan or goju reu

they dont copied the karate they take a little from the karate and i mean the deffrint between the tow game it is not too much you can trained karate and taekwndo at the same time i know that becuse i did it it not that jard but the taekwndo is way too fast and and they using just the leg so thers no big deffrint and the both games are betufil am i right gyus or what?

Actually, When japan took korea in whatever war they had, the japs outlawed all forms of korean martial art to be practiced, and so karate was forced onto them. It has obviously went onto something much different but it actually comes from karate. There are other korean arts, but tae kwon do evolved from karate

Yep, and 20 rounds of full-contact fighting, meditating under the ice-cold waterfall, training barefooted in the snow... Everything has its place, so have 10 days training (6/7 hours a day) and having fun, not necessary in a boot camp atmosphere. The choice is yours... :-)
