This is good! The part where you were talking about men have to do their part, but women have to do their part too reminds me of the books "For Men Only", "For Women Only", etc. These books deal with these issues. Like the Bible says in I Corinthians, God commands the men to LOVE his wife, but He also commands the women to RESPECT her husband. God does this for a purpose. Men are already prone to respect others cuz that's how they're wired. Just as on the other hand women are prone to LOVE.
People have to realize that a relationship is something you work at EVERYDAY and you have to work TOGETHER. And the more that God is in the center, the more life makes sense. He'll give you the strength to overcome your temptations if you put your trust in HIM.
Kirk every man needs to hear this. I have a son in-law who needs to hear this. I'm just trying to find a way to share. I pray for my daughter and her marriage. I agree with everything you say. This is good! The part where you were talking about men have to do their part, but women have to do their part too reminds me of the books "For Men Only", "For Women Only", etc. These books deal with these issues. Like the Bible says in I Corinthians, God commands the men to LOVE his wife, but He also commands the women to RESPECT her husband. God does this for a purpose. Men are already prone to respect others cuz that's how they're wired. Just as on the other hand women are prone to LOVE.

To dadreamzworld: Clearly you've misunderstood... I said it as to reiterate that I agree with him about people acting self-righteous. What I AM saying is that I don't totally understand or agree about the throwing scriptures part, since in accountability, we're trying to keep God first, last and in the middle. Some people do NEED that prayer and some scriptures to hang on to. Some people are crying out for help not just an ear. Hope this clears it up for you!

Thank u it struck a passion that God had already placed in me. we should build up our homes not tear them down. God can use us 2 minister 2 our men by loving on them & being supportive. We r a help mate to our husbands. The enemy is going after our men with a vengence becuz they r the head& he knows it will bring division n2 the home. We must recognize the tacticsof the enemy & cover our homes. Praythat they b strengthen & b the men God called them 2 b. we must b ride/die women & take control.

Thank you so much... What I just got from you was that as a woman, I have to be able to pray and be patient as the man's mind is being renewed (forgiveness). Thank you for sharing this with us, Kirk. I hear what you're saying about men throwing scriptures at each other. I get it but then again, isn't that what they SHOULD do? Yes, be real. Speak from the human experience. Listen to one another. But at the end of all that, prayer and some reinforcing scriptures should be shared. That's my opinion. Just to try and keep GOD at the head of that. Us ministering to each other, is about giving HIM glory. Right??? That's my two cents... thanks again!

Both of your comments make sense. 2Tim2:15 says study to shew thyself approved unto GOD, A workman that needth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth. We are suppose to put GOD first in everything we do. Cause without GOD we are nothing. WE are should eat,drink, and live the word of GOD.You are so right so many are crying out for help and the only way to help is to stand on the word of GOD. He is on hisback that why we need to pray .

what steve was doing was not a struggle, that was a decision he made. I could see if he was single but he was married and he was wrong flat out.
