  • this movie is f'n hilarious

  • The line where he says, "They almost didn't hire me because they thought I looked to feminine", still cracks me up 29-30 years later. Hoffman was so insane in this. It was a perfect comedy. 4 stars.

  • Sydney Pollack was great.

  • The ONE person who disliked this needs to get some therapy!

  • Sydney Pollack is gold.

  • "I don't believe this!" "Why not?" "I mean, I believe it."

  • There will never will be a movie like this again, this movie is comedy treasure!

  • I LOVE ,LOVE,LOVE this scene !!! --Tootsie ,so brilliantly written/directed/and of course that 1st rate cast -magnificent !! so many scenes stand out in my mind ,this scene never fails to make me laugh so much, also the scene when Dustin (who shares the characters dressing room with Geena Davis ) is flustered at Geena doing exercises in bra and panties-hilarious ,and i love that scene when Dustin grabs that actors face away from looking at his cue cards to pay attention to him-classic .. A++

  • for what ! for what ? i gotta get me something else besids this bwhahaha

  • You are PSYCHOTIC!!!

    No I'm not, I'm employed

  • how they didnt give dustin the oscar for this still makes me wonder to this day..

  • @jazzmanEE Ben Kinglsey robbed him....close call if you ask me but it should've been Dustin who won

  • "Oh, God, I beg you to get some therapy!"

  • I begged you to get help

  • this scene is brilliant

" can i get a double vodka right away"

  • My god, Hoffman is really convincing as a woman! (and I thought Robin Williams was good....)

  • Hoffman good, Pollack even better!

  • what a classic! I think I need to watch this one over again it has been over 30 years!

  • Be sure to check out "Tootsie the Play". Tootsie is played as a black woman!
