  • this dance organ is a 105 key organ with a carl frei system and is called "de Schuyt".

on the left side of this organ, is another organ(outside the videoview), this organ is a 90 key organ and it is called "hooghuys".

beside these 2, there are 2 more dance organs in this room:

the 110 key Th.Mortier organ called "Het Paashuis"

the (unknown) key Carl Frei organ called "De Huijskens"

  • @xpQ2ng 101 key th. mortier organ "het paashuis"

  • This is a fair organ and has 105 keys.

  • This is a dance or concert organ, started life in 1913 as an 86 key Mortier dance organ, rebuilt in 1931 by Carl Frei as a 105 key concert dance organ. :)

  • @nickn5nl This organ played on the fairgrounds of Holland for many years in a large show after the Carl Frei conversion,it only became a concert organ when installed in Utrecht.

  • Ok, thanks for that extra info, I think I'll leave the description as it is though to refer to its original intended use and current use. Its fairground history would perhaps explain in part why it seems much louder than a typical dance organ?

  • Liefdeskapitein- K3

    The tune!!

  • Bedankt! Is nu in info...
