I've had little problems (other than indifference) to the majority of Jason pairings but Jasam 2.0 is awful tbh. If a pairing requires the one reliable trait of your male lead to be forgotten, it is not viable anymore. I can not buy Sonny in romantic relationships anymore because the trope his character was based on (mobster with a heart of gold) was decimated slowly each year. The minute Jasam 2.0 happened, it stripped Jason of his 'protector of kids' trait and made it unbelievable.
I never understood and still to this day do not understand how Jason forgave Sam for watching his son get kidnapped and hiring those gunmen to threaten Liz and her boys in the park. He was absolutely furious with her. I have always loved Liason, and was extremely disappointed when the writers wrote them into the ground. Watching this back now, I see how much more substance this relationship had compared to JaSam.
What is G going to w/ Liz. She is alway's there for Jason when things go bad. How many times has she saved him from gunshot wounds? And who is he going to go to? Carly is too territorial and bosey. GH ruined a great relationship by firing Becky.
I miss these two. So much love, so much chemistry. I love the way they look at eachother. Elizabeth looks so classy even in only a camisole. On the opposite end of the spectrum we have the skank. Coming out of the stairwell looking like a $2 whore.
While watching this once again, I noticed at 2:29 that he kept his eyes open when kissing, and it was almost like he didn't want to close them for afraid that Elizabeth would dissapear on him.

Jasam became friends for the sake of Sonny's child. They bonded after the death of that child. They got together because both were lonely and had no other person in their life. Did they have fun? Occasionally but on the whole with kidnappings, and amneisia and dancing twins FUN for them was rare.

@iluvsteveburton2much Lastly, I watched Jasam v1 and I disagree completely about what Jasam were based on. Sam was in love and pregnant to Sonny and he rejected her and dumped her on Jason. Jasam became friends for the sake of Sonny's child. They bonded after the death of that child. They got together because both were lonely and had no other person in their life. Did they have fun? Occasionally but on the whole with kidnappings, and amneisia and dancing twins FUN for them was rare.

As a matter of fact i can dedicate one to u, just 4 u. however, im having a little trouble finding fun moments w/ liason myself, everything is all huggy kissy feely touchy or protesting undying luv... nice, but a little overkill, not much to work on. jasam has those moments too but at least they come up for air every now and again. geesh

I love Jason and Elizabeth as a couple. Since the beginning Jason and Elizabeth always had amazing chemistry and they were there for one other even in the early days when Liz thought Lucky was dead. She could finally be herself with Jason. I believe the Elizabeth gives Jason what he needs especially living in the Mob world. GH needs to bring this couple back together again and let Jason have his family. His son is going to need him. Lucky and Liz really don't work and he needs to grow up.

You know, in a way, I'm almost glad they're not together. They keep getting close, but the reality of his life is something they're not ignoring, which I appreciate.
