You have to remember that most of the Nuggets are mostly quartz chisbuts or visible gold in a quartz vein. These were all picked up on clear days off the coast of Nome AK, Some of the cameramen from "Bering Sea Gold" show. filmed me picking some chisbuts up off the bottom this past summer as well. So theres still some there.

These speciment pieces are more valuable as whole pieces, NOT refined. Anybody can crush the rocks to get the gold out. Mercury mixing with the quartz wont do anything. But thanks for the thought.

you cant find any one to refine it? if not i think it was quick silver or a nother name merqury that will dissolve gold and nothing else then you evaperate the quick silver and pure gold is left. if you try to smelt it be carefull not to get it to hot because gold can evaperate if you get it to hot.
