What Many people fail to understand is that the Sex Pistols are not technically brilliant. All Punk bands have relatively simple songs that are very catchy, Grungy and usually are made to rebbel.

If what only qualifies a band to be genuine is technicality or complexity then Hendrix and Zepplin would NOT be the top of the list by any means.

I actually agree with you, I know that AC/DC and KISS and Sex Pistols, not are as tallented as Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix at all, but to me it's more about who makes me rock, and I don't think that rock has to be perfect, and thats why I think that AC/DC are the best :)

i mostly listen to old school rock and stuff like The Beatles, Queen, AC/DC and KISS and so on, but i respect everyones tast of music, except from that meaningless pop, and rap crap everybody listens to these days xD. I hate it, it has absolutely no soul in it, they just make it to get money... but thats just one Guys opinion. :)
