The rig I made was not easy, because I made it proper, as far as mechanical engineering goes. It does not run on batteries.

So forgive my expression when some claims it's easy to do (by just taping some batteries and motors together, which of course IS easy).

I don't mean to disrespect, but u are comparing my hard work to something that sounds half-assed, maybe it isn't, I'd love to see.

you notice @ the very start, when it starts spinning, its a white color.. , that is due to to equal amounts of each color in the rgb spectrum..

when you see the flickers or different colors, it is due to 1 or more of the leds either being off, or flickering for a specific amount of time..

there are 7 possible combinations of the 3 solid colors.. thus 7 different colors, flickering and turning off random leds, is how this works..
