gawd i love this game. i'm a shadow warrior. but dont you think they already used this. they've used battlefield objectives. but all they have done is made you have bonuses when you plant them? and its hard to get them

on the bright side though they do help me alot as a shadow warrior as i'm all ways being teamed on by black orc heavies. and those dwarves are nooby! god dammit i love that game *mumbling: stupid dwarfs always taking my kills (mummble mummble mummble) grr*

Yea I found the guild in War very freaking confusing even if I listen to this guy all sounds cool but trying to make guild and ranks and what not to confusing for me I might have to put my life into this game and read 500 pgs of the manual to actually not be a noob and chill it out and have no life like the rest of us ^_^ jk

yeah i waited 6 hours for wow patches whgen i got it but that was go8ing at full speed not 25kbps

don't worry bazza2706 I hade the same problems tot it whas a pain in the @ss to instal the game then download the patch but after thet day I played the game and I still think it whas one of my best decission in online games :D

It takes 15 seconds to take an enemy planted banner!! You can't destroy it, and if you get hit, you stop taking it! that is rediculous! Why would they need to carry it D*: they need to make it something more like...3 seconds, 5 at the most!

It's kinda normal. In WOW u need to wat 15 seconds to take over a base in the battlegrounds. and if u get hit Tjhen it stops, This makes a game mor tactifull and if it was only 5 or 3 seconds the game was less fun.

i used to play daoc back in the day, an i beleive they can pull something like this off, an do it well. Mythic killed daoc when they made too many expansions, so as long as they dont do this with WAR, an just add little things, they will have a great game :D

Okay ...coming from a long term mmo player and someone completely bored with WoW but has never played DAoC ... can they pull this off? I think these kind of features can become fantastic if done right but I just remain a skeptic although I look forward to jumping in for a try.

I think I'm gonna make a guild in warhammer, with a kick ass name like Da Bloody Destroyers! By the way WoW sucks, look et their guild, you can't do anything in it! Yeah make a useles guild tabard and talk with each other...Booring.

Lol way to be a kill joy, go back to wow if you want instances that are often proven pointless. This game focuses on that there IS a war and everything that you do ACTUALLY contributes to it. If you have a problem with pvp givng you access to the better/best armor in the game, then obviously this game isn't for you. You have to put effort into pvp...instances (from wow atleast) you run in, kill someone while getting healed and do it over.

not really, i mean they are putting a shit load of money into this game, and to not charge monthly would be a big loss of profit for them, they will only charge about 10-15 dollars a month, definitly cheaper then wows subscription is.

I agree that a yearly subscription would be better then monthly, but just by looking at all the videos that warhammer has out already, i'm definitly going to pay the monthly subscription without hesitation. This game is going to be awesome. Too good to pass up.

One of my old favorite things from DAoC was the guild emblem customizing & being able to wear your emblem on cloaks and on captured keeps. We also used to talk about how cool it would be to have the ability to carry guild banners/standards into battle.

The fact that you guys are doing just that is extremely awesome, I am highly looking forward to this!

unfortunatly Nintendo thats not true =( its still going to be around 12-15 bucks a month =\ BUT this is new gen stuff its far more advanced as far as gameplay, game appeal (the graphics), and the games concept. Also unlike being totally lost at your level cap in WoW the game really starts at level 40 which is very simple to achive. I was in the last Closed beta and can say that id pay 20 a month for even the early form of the game. and im a pretty poor mofo haha

Its actually cheaper for the more months you pay for, For Example: 6 months of game play for 12.99 a month or you can pay month by month for 14.99$
