  • he wears kobe's. thats zoom kobe iv

  • Easy to do when you're Ricky Rubio, hard to do when you're not Ricky Rubio

  • Im doin this at our next game no lie

  • My buddy and I got this one down now, but he can't 360 windmill dunk yet. :(

  • I was faked too by looking at this video

  • That was sexy

  • what's the title of this muzik.. anyone plsss

  • 0:29 ooooooo shitttt

  • Im just thinking what if step 4 misses.

  • this move might fake your own teammates

  • Easy basket is a windmill dunk haha

  • i've seen easier finishes

  • What the... A windmill is like a lay-up for these guys. I need to stop making the lay-up drill and find a windmill drill. Oh! There is none!

  • Ricky: no look pass, no look the game, no look the basket!!! jajaja pufo!

  • if an easy basket a windmill dunk, im afraid to know whats a hard finish lol

  • It's easy if your friend can dunk... sadly my friend is 5'7'' so he settles for missing a layup instead.

  • can sombody helppp actually mae no look passes look good because i try them but they look horrible.PLEASEEE HELPPPPPP!!!!!!!

  • @bowmantrina its all n da fake and ur style. once the defender commits then u make da pass

  • @bowmantrina keep doing em

  • Is it just me or did he travell a bit when he put it behind his back?

  • @cheerfulnovascotian nah, the first step i think you're seeing was when he was still technically dribbling. The walking (not traveling) starts when the ball is already behind his back.

  • @cheerfulnovascotian he only takes two steps i think

  • lol it looked like doing a layup instead of finishing would have been alot easier of a basket.

  • too bad he is garbage

  • ricky is cute !!

  • that a sweet pass

  • LULZ, yeah I windmill all the time in my backyard for the easy finish.

  • hahah, "easy basket" and he windmills it home xD what a show off :P

  • woah.. that dunk is easy now.?

  • Lmao, if you're that impressed come to the local Y here. There are about 5,000 in this area and the ones that come to the Y do stuff like this daily. Unfortunately I was the unexpected victim of an alley-oop that ended with a guy slamming on the back of my head.

  • That pass ws SICK. Wen I 1s saw this I hd to rewind it! Wow!

  • Wow, that was terrible defense.

  • @ZekeSlamin nd its all played out lolz ricky rubio is all hype

  • spanish cunt

  • Haha would have been nice but the problem with these commercials is that alot of times the take different plays and combine them to make it look as if it was one.

At 0:35 you can see the defender's hands by his head and can tell by his posture that he isn't about to jump

Yet, at 0:36 he is in the air with his hands above his head.

    Nice windmill though

  • Just casually do a windmill

  • wtf? Easy my Azz. i cant even do that shit on a 9 foot goal lmao

  • Rubio is a scared pussy man ... men lie women lie number dont lie.

brandon jennings said if he wud have came with all the rookies and done the owrkouts he wud have even fall from position 5.

if mother fuckers is that good why dont he go to NBA and show wats he worth .. playing with best.

i heard all that bullshit about europe they play good defense and all that man .. good defense is not foul its steals blocks and all that .. i dont see no 4 blocks per game 4 steals per game in europe ...

  • @bryant362 do I smell haterade?

  • @slickrickdarula no you smell Factorade

men lie women lie .. numbers dont lie

    go check da number ...

  • "easy finish" lol

  • none can block an easy windmill dunk

  • Poor haters... Go Rubio!

  • Americans have been doing this move for about 40 years. WTF are y'all talking about? He doesn't even do it with that much flair.

  • @cavaleer yep kidd has been that for years.

  • @SAtownZ28 No disrespect to Rubio cause I think he's consciously emulating the American style but all this hype around him is strictly cause he's foreign. There've been a dozen PGs in the NBA over the last ten years doing all these moves but when do they get a "signature move."? It's disgusting the way Nike kisses foreign azz, like Pacquiao and now this kid, who would probably get abused in the NBA. I could see hyping them in their country but to Americans?? Insulting..

  • @cavaleer its only because its the player that the NBA let get away. he is not even best foreign player. how come i dont see a vid about parker, Ginobili, Dirk, or Yao. but yea i have seen Kidd, Nash, Paul do this "signature move" all the time.

  • @SAtownZ28 Good points about Ginobli and Dirk and it's a good question. The only reason I can think is that they're not as flashy but I'd take either of them over this kid any day all day. haha

Matta fact, Nike needs to do this sort of thing with Brandon Jennings, who's clearly the next great point guard, along with John Wall.

  • @cavaleer Nike only wants players on big market teams(with the exception of Lebron) like T-mac didnt get that much media till he went to the rockets or Jason kidd wasnt looked at as a huge star till he went to the Nets. Hell why do you think they never signed Duncan, KG, Howard, Billups, T-Mac, Arenas for a deal for there own line of products. hell they are even offering Lebron 30 mil to leave the cavs and go to NY. now thats just foul play.

  • @SAtownZ28 Dam, that's true. I always wondered why T-Mac wasn't with Nike. I can understand that to a point but they're missing a lot of talent these days in the NBA. I guess that's Nike's business model.

  • @cavaleer yep they signed zach randolph an endorsment deal but they didnt give the players i mentioned before a deal. but it is funny how how adidas stole Josh Smith & Derrick Rose.

  • @SAtownZ28 Great point about Rose. That makes absolutely no sense.

Saludos

  • @darkoal9 I can make out a few words here and there but Latin and Spanish were subjects from many years ago. If you're asking me why do I wonder how Nike calls a pass that Americans have been doing for the last 40+ years something that is a signature "Ricky Rubio" pass, the answer is self-evident. Now if Nike is advertising this to Europeans and Spaniards in particular, that's somewhat understandable, even though it's still absurd.

And yes, it is insulting. Not Rubio but Nike.

  • y is dis ct not in the nba right now

  • LEFT-LEFT....LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT....Oops, traveling....Starting on a left foot and ending on the same foot then jump it's pretty much traveling in my book....It's traveling most of the time he does it in games, too....But don't let that stop brands from branding the next golden goose...Besides, MJ used to be generous about his stepping around too...

  • wow ! thats amazing pass. but looks like scripted.lol - nEEr !

  • that was terrible defense. i havnt seen very many people get that far ahead on just a hesitation move.

  • tht was horrible defense

  • The defender should never try to stop the pointguard near the half court line. Because of that, it was more like a 3 on 1. Should have gone back on D.

  • @rainbowcicak

The exercise simulate a fast break point... so its posible that the PG is there because he just lost the ball... Its a situation that happen a lot in real games.

  • in this particular case yes

  • LOL there was nothing easy about that finish.

  • 1. Hesitation Move

    2. Behind the back

    3. No look pass

    4. SHOW OFF

  • BUST!

  • Of course he is not traveling...!

  • its not a travel for all u idiots who think it is.. look at his feet carefully he is passing of the second step

  • I don't think it is actually a travel

He dribbles the ball while on his left, and starts putting it behind while he is still on his left, takes his first step onto his right, second step onto his left, then passes

  • that windmill dunk was sick... i didn't think he would make it

btw this is 4th quarter material.... when ur beating the other team by a shit load

  • Rubio will do that any time in the game..

  • if you are going to hate on his vids, then stop watching em you dumb mother fuckers

  • srry crack babies dat was 3 steps more than 2 he jumped off the floor on 3 and was thats walkin but i bet if u go to a lebron game you while see him walk every almost every play

  • Good pass, Harry Potter!

  • And finish with an easy windmill :p

  • wtf travel? 4 steps?

  • yeah the camera shifts but u can tell he took more steps after the behind the back so yeah MAJOR TRAVEL

  • that's the hardest easy basket i've seen

  • sooo good.

  • i like his hair cut short like this

  • doesnt he speak

  • BECASUE, HE NOT TALK ENGLISH

  • That windmill sure doesn't look like an "easy basket".

  • A layup is. You're not supposed to do a windmill.

  • looks easy but actually very hard to do

  • How could the first defender NOT recover from something like that?

  • bcoz their white

  • i assume this is a fastbreak situation

defender needs to recover and at the same time defend, it's hard to defend while moving back, and if opponent's too fast, recovering would be hard

  • he wearin kobes?

  • newagepun is a fat ass piece of gay shit mothafkin bitch.

  • LOL U MAD cuz you're inferior in baskteball? Get outta here smalltime, this is about people with real skill. Not pretenders.

  • now thats a good move!!

  • everything looks good on slow motion hahaha

and he had to make that dunk even harder

  • That wasn't easy basket :D

  • Just your everyday one handed windmill in transition.

  • Practice makes perfect. THe question is do they run that play with that finish every time.

  • Just casually do a windmill

  • @BigLouPL correction, it was an easy basket. He could have done a simple lay up. He just did a hard finish, but he was wide open.

  • traveL?

  • what a pass ha fuck the pass look at the dunk lol

  • wow nice dunk :D

  • he'll do okay because the guys that enter the NBA nowadays lack so many fundamentals. And once they get their first injury and lose a step or two, they become useless trade fodder.

  • this guy will do some serious damage in the NBA

  • wtf fadeaway dunk ur a dumbshit no such thing

  • Nah dun worry. Pinoys think they got shit in global basketball but they can't even handle the jock of euro ballers. Even their Fil-Shams are pieces of Div 3 amateur shit who don't know fundamentals compared to the 80's/90's players.

  • can he do a fade away dunk? :]

  • pinoy ka no? haha

  • yah right!! how did u know? hehehe

  • because of the fade away dunk..haha

    pinoy lng nakakagawa nyan!

  • hehe salamat pare hehe..

    iba talaga ang pinoy hehe..

  • thats sick

  • thats so hard in real game cause people actully move thier feet in a game

  • check out his highlights, he's done it many times in games

  • and their hands too cause that's called DEFENSE LOL!

  • to fast.....i think

  • easy basket! if thats an easy dunk then whats hard!

  • spinning TWICE IN THE AIR! 720 DUNK!

  • Some people are just too talented

  • that dude needs ankle insurance.

  • When I first saw this kid playing, people were saying he was the next "Pistol Pete". I was really disapointed.

He is good...don't get me wrong...but he is clearly overrated. Just stop comparing him to NBA legends. He is a very young player that still needs to develop at it's potential and honestly he is way better defensive than offensive player and he can't shoot...so the Pistol Pete comparison makes no sense.

  • pistol pete was at his best when he was in college...averaging 40+ pts a game...then when in the NBA he slumped. always on a team with no talent. the best he ever did was with the hawks when DR J was almost his teammate.

The pistol pete comparisons are legit. They both have extreme ball handling and passing.

  • I like how everyone keeps calling him overrated when Blake Griffin can't shoot a jumper to save his life. So call him overrated too jack asses.

  • how about STEVE NASH?

  • NICE VIDEO....WHAT'S THE SONG NAME??

  • ricky is fantastic... only 19 years old!!!

  • 18,turnz 19 in october

  • oh, yes. Im spanish and in my country, we think that ricky must stand one year more.... he is very young

  • he's the best player outside the NBA

  • who is this guy ? LOL some europe player?

  • hes a 18 years old spanish player that won a silver medal in the olimpics.. have you ever won a n olimpic medal at 18 ?? i dont think you even have 18..

  • i thought he was 16 when he played in the olympics

  • he was 16 when he won the world champs with spain.

  • He didn´t play the World Championship. His first internacional appearence was in the Olympics

  • In August 2006, Rubio led the junior Spanish national team to the FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship. During the tournament Rubio achieved three triple-doubles and one quadruple-double. In the 110-106 double overtime finale victory over Russia, Rubio scored 51 points, 24 boards, 12 assists and 7 steals. He also forced the first overtime with a three-point, buzzer-beating shot from half-court. Rubio was named the MVP after leading the tourney in points, rebounds, assists and steals.

  • That is freaking ridiculous.

  • good say

  • hes unknown because for sure ive never heard of such player

  • hes unknown? a future number 1 or 2 draft pick is unknown

  • number 2 draft

  • Hes not unknown every basketball fans know him

  • then you dont keep your ears open to much basketball news werent u watchin the olympics?

  • wow i hope the kings can get him
