  • i love how people are like amazed by this... they should look at more videos XD

  • Reactor??

  • Maya BlastCode

  • owwwwww:)

  • rayfire.... amiright?

  • this is not real time rendering right? pre-renderd?

  • Cinematic physics is physics baked into an animation so it doesn't have to be rendered in real time, but can be view in real-time.

  • @Molton1878 Indeed. When half life 2 ep2 introduced this, I thought it would be something special. In reality, it became something clever and optimized to use for games, but in the end not really that special for an engine.

  • thats cool man

  • I have serious doubts that this is made in 3dsMax.I don't think it's possible. You used something else for sure.Didn't you?

  • It's 3dsmax alright, have you ever used the program? There's a in-built physics engine simulator that's used to create the animation. This kind of tool also exists in many other animators. I believe the name of the simulator is Core or something.

  • so this is particle system?

  • are those peices keyframed?

  • what program was that made in? 3ds max?

  • Yup.

  • wow nice

how long did it take you to model all those tiny pieces o_o

  • Actually it was done by a freind of mine, I'd say a couple of hours though.

  • well kudos to him then :P

  • Sure will, but just an example of what Cinematic Animations are. And how they act of course.

  • Will that be in City 17: Episode One?
