@danielc365 For traffic reasons, also somethings the 2 parallel runaways arent always the same length. So when this is the case they would use the longer out of the two runways for takeoffs and the shorter one for landings.

In general, the 767 is supposed to be longer but more narrow with a more pointed nose,

while the 777-224 is a wider but shorter in length with a more "Round nose"

haha yeah.. =) I just found out that if I compare it to the boeing 777-300 ER which is around 10 feet longer (little diff), the 767-400 is a lot more narrow when it comes to in wingspan (42+ feet in difference! wow)...maybe that's why the look of 'longness' of the 767-400 is so clear at first sight. What do you think?

Actually when the 747-800 comes out sometime in the next few years, it will be the longest plane in the world only beating it by 3 feet 8 inches. but it will be the longest aircraft

The longest plane in the world right now is the A340-600 at 247ft. The 777-300er (242ft. 4in.) is already longer than the A380 (239ft. 3in.) by 3ft. 1in. When the 747-800 comes out its gonna be the longest at 250ft. 2in.

I saw one of these take off from Albany International Airport. I was quite a sight for me because the largest plane that normally comes in to albany intl are the 737s. (And the 757 and 727, but they takeoff and land at night)
