I think the Therapist tried to help him, but he had problems when he didn't like what she said though she was being honest and to the point with him. He always ran and got defensive when he didn't like what he heard. That's the truth.
drug addict's are the best bullshit throwers , it sad no one really heard his crys for help you have to listen real careful when a drug user talk's either its all lie's to suck you in or the truth .been there done that
i think the doc was painfully honest. people who don't look their problems in the eyes and deal with them once and for all will probably be eaten alive by their problems.
anyone else notice that the psychotherapist chick is an arrogant, pretentious, douchebagette? if he wasn't getting any better, not wonder.... what a bitch.
She is arrogant but I think sadly she had some valid points. He was always saying he was clean and sober when he really wasn't. It is a shame for sure and i think he was really talented and a good person.
I looked up to him as a great actor,and someone who wasn't ready for praise, he was young and got a lot of attention.I hope that movies like the Lost Boys will never get filmed again.Corey smoked his first joint while filming' The Lost Boys' who gave him the pot?
I think if he hadn't slowly destroyed his body, his immune system by taking all those Drugs through out the years he may have been able to battle the i'llness.
@derkzukenval - Your page says that you live in Togo. Why don't you stick with the sick things that are taking place on your continent and leave the United States alone. This is supposed to be about Corey Haim. RIP Corey.
I don't agree with the second therapist. I don't think he was doing drugs, at the time of dealth, I just think his body immune system wasn't at it's best because of years of abuse of drugs. The fever could have been high enough to kill him. Poor Corey, be at peace.
alot of actors couldn't make money after they aged up. They get extremely depress unlike 1920-2001 filmmaking. Their happiness was gone and destoryed.
2008-2010 has become the biggest lost generation. We lost growing pain actor.
There will be more actors/actress suffering massive depression.

That "therapist" is a quack. I wish he would have had help from a good therapist. <3 Corey.

@tuffythetiger
Keifer Sutherland and Jason Patric got him stoned, or so the story goes.
Incidentally, River Phoenix said that Sutherland was the person who got him to smoke his first joint on the set of Stand By Me.
