  • when i was 2 years old i ALWAYS sung this song in the car

  • i like how she covered this song. the origional is so much more obscure and awesome sounding though yeah but out of anyone to cover this as a female i think G.S. is awesome and like nuwaved out and punk rock to find the obscurity of this song to even be cool. and she is so amazingly hot actually unlike alot of other "celebs" i guess you could call GS one now even though shes still awesome.

  • It's her best song 'cos she didn't write it...it's from the 80s by Talk Talk. Today's pop stars are so musically deficient they have to plunder stuff from the past to come up with anything half decent!

  • @MrBuggles67 Not even close to original.

  • Thank you Mark Hollis !

    Very miss you!

  • HOT BITCH !!! :D

  • Lot's more to come from that girl,,:))

  • this is her best song,

  • Superb! Gwen Sefani rox!!!

  • I was obsessed with this song in 2005 <3

  • Although its a good song , the original by Talk Talk has a better grove to it , not disowning NO Doubt or Gwen in anyway.

  • Gwen has her sexy voice on, in the beginning of this song.

  • she reminds me of tank girl, anyone ever seen that movie?

  • can't wait for no doubts new album to drop!!

  • You have come along way gwen. You and the original no doubt played at our daughters 16th birthday party in fullerton in 1987. Started out with 50 guest and ended up with 200. What a night.

  • Keep in mind without Hollis this is not possible!

  • the original is better than this cover, isn't it

  • @GeorgianaIulian they're both good. :)

  • This is one of my favorite groups. They're great.

  • love it xP

  • I'm too damn old to know who Gwen S is, but she does a FANTASTIC job with this awesome classic. Love the old one just as much!!

  • when i was three, this was my favorite song, by my favorite artist.

  • Not a bad cover. Good to bring a classic to a new generation.

  • thumps up if u clicked on this one to avoid the VEVO version with the advertisement

  • My bff looks just like Gwen :P

  • For those who think this version is good...fair enough. But NOTHING will ever eclipse the original.

    Talk Talk forever!

  • @Englander30 Exactly. It's like people running around saying Disturbed's covers of legendary U2 are better than U2 themselves.

People are always like "oh, this song reminds me of the 90s-early 2000s" and I'm always like "...the original is from the 80s, actually. Just so you know."

  • Very cool indeed.... I remember Talk Talk doing this in1983!! I'll always LOVE the original but fair play to No Doubt... they've breathed new life into a classic song and done an excellent job in my humble opinion!! Top marks, I'm sure Talk Talk will approve...

  • Game Point!...Sounds The Full Living Beauty On Planet Earth...I know she mocks it all with this as though a very young generation can't appreciate Royalty ...but she's FEMALE...tha'd be an idea...as Her Majesty on This Rare Planet Earth...The Eagle Having Landed!...Should I watch that other one..."if I were having that much fun as it's prisoner" the same one?..oh well.."a picture of it's "queen"" -not quite Madonna!

  • I like both these groups, but I'm surprised they didn't do more with this remake. It's pretty straightforward; doesn't have any 'signature' sounds to it. The original had the ebbing and flowing synths, the drum thing before the chorus, the animal noises (or whatever they were--they sounded cool in the original but I don't blame No Doubt for leaving them out). This version is nice, but it just sounds like drum machine, noise, and Stefani. Didn't even get the ascending bass line quite right.

  • This is good...But I like the 80's version better...But Gwen is awesome still!!

  • this was a great a tune from the 80s and i'm so glad that gwen did it justice. great version.

  • Some covers are pointless & cringeworthy but this is not one of them. Gwen's version has a softer side to it and works well in my opinion.

It's ok to love both Talk Talk & Gwen ya know!!

  • love it xP

  • ES MI VIDA!!!!

  • Buen intento. Pero es mucho mejor con TALK TALK

  • Bellaaaaaaaaaaa

  • I don't give a rats ass what anyone says about what version, I love both versions. They are wonderful, so there. Deal with it.

  • Im gay and its my life!!!!!!

  • LINDA

    OBS:NAO FICA VELHA KKKKK

  • sorry, but Talk Talk's version beats this by a mile and a half.

  • @moldypanda The Talk Talk dudes CANNOT sing.

  • @michellecool9801 do you even know who Talk Talk is?

  • @moldypanda yes. and they cant sing. sorry, my opinion. :-/

  • @michellecool9801 just like how i think Talk Talk is better is my opinion. respect my opinion and i'll respect yours.

  • @moldypanda Fine. I'm sorry. I'm just not used to that version. :/

  • @michellecool9801 well, that version came out almost 30 years ago lol it's alright that you're not used to it. i wasn't even born when Talk Talk's version was released, but that's the kind of music i listen to more.

  • Una delle più belle canzoni che io abbia mai ascoltato...

  • @MrLewisj77 anch'io pensavo la stessa cosa! incredibilmente bella

  • What a terrible cover! The original by Talk Talk was much better.

  • ITS MY LIFE!!

  • Io amo questa canzone !

  • The bassline is NUCLEAR!

  • @Frostweld Without this bassline this song sucks, but with that this song its AWSOME!

  • i agree thevillain5....the bass track is top notch

  • She stole the drum synths from Billie Jean by Michael Jackson. Talk Talk original wins hands down.

  • i love her so much!

  • I do prefer Talk Talk original version, however Gwen's voice is beautiful...

  • Bassline!!!

  • I loveedd this song, when I hear first I'm 9 years old and I believe in the first second. Gwen is a very good singer ...

  • amo esse clipee♥♥

  • i love this song!!

  • @LolliSweet82 I love Gwen,,,,,
