Fleury isnt as great as so many think. You dont give up 3 goals per game during the finals and expect to win a cup. Sure he had a few good saves but thats it... It came down to the Penguins defense but Fleury could of had at least one great goal stopping night and he didnt. If it wasnt for Cleary putting it in his own net in game 5, Peguins would only of won one game.

Suck it up Penguins fans, the Wingd were the dominating team.

@Cuzntime You should have seen Fleury when he played down in the AHL.He was so awful in a playoff series against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers falling down 3 games 1,they had to use their back-up goalie Andy Chiodo to come back and make it to the Calder Cup Finals.Now I don't know about you,but that's the goaltender I want on my team,not a bum like Fleury who let's in so many goals.He can't carry them on his back if they need to rely on him.If they have to,they're in a world of hurt.

I don't put all the blame on Fleury. Note Orpik is standing to his left. The puck is on the ice for almost 2 whole seconds. If Orpik pays attention, he sees that puck fall, and he scoops it safely out to the corner and play goes on.

Earlier in the game Lidstrom made a move on a similar stop by Ozzie, holding his stick flat across the goal line in case the puck slid under the goalie (which it didn't, but just in case). That's the kind of heads-up play that gave Detroit the edge and the series.

Detroit's edge was that they were the better team. Pittsburgh only stayed in it because they scored some timely goals; otherwise, they were dominated!
