i was just there. I LOVED IT! i had the exact same view as you. what was your room number? and it's a real shame to think that the water at the beach goes right up to those little hut - umbrella things. the beach was still beautiful though. LOVE CANCUN!!!

Beautiful location, people, everything you want! wonderful hotel, staff great, best hol ever in my life. Go and see for yourself, we are part of the mexican flag so I was told, because we've been there, I believe them. My kids love this place.

To be honest not that great! We went in a couple of times but it's really dark and creepy to be honest! There's so many other brilliant clubs near the hotel anyway that I wouldn't bother going to the hotel one (I think it's called Pacha).

Not really, they all cost around £15 - £25 to get in but that's just a cover charge and once you're in, all your drinks are free! Senor Frogs is the best at this, as you go in they hand you a yard-long glass and that's yours for the night to keep taking back to the bar for free refills. They also plonked a bottle of Jose Cuervo on our table that was ours for the night! Messy...

This footage looks exactly like the view from my room, even though I was on the 9th floor. It was pure Heaven. Their staff is incredible. Make sure that you make reservations for their exclusive Japanese restaurant.

Thanks for posting this. I was there (Riu Cancun) for spring break. I loved it so much that my poor family (husband and kids) had to drag me out of there kicking and screaming. This was my favorite vacation and I can't wait to go back next year.

youll have teh best time ever there, also its fun to stay at the hotel for 2weeks straight without leaving its well entertained, i recommend you go a a trip to xcaret on a a/c tour bus its a nice place to visit and you can swim with the tropical fishes.

anyways you can drink all the liquer you want, also the inroom bar/fridge is not so great as it sounds though theres only soda, water, corona, and couple other un refridgerated liquers. i rather go to 1/3 bars and get something great and its all free!

well, there are 4 different types of alcohol in a dispenser in your room. under that is the refrigerator which is filled with corona, bottled water, and different softdrinks like pepsi and 7up. if you go downstairs into the lobby the employees will serve you with non-alcoholic drinks. there are 3 different bars at the hotel. one in the lobby, one in the pool, and one in the activities room. im pretty sure most of the drinks were international but you have to look at a menu they give you atthebar

They serve you drinks when you are checking into the hotel, and it never stops.

Tell them what you want, and it's yours.

When you have to leave, you may want to ask for a rope to hang yourself.

It's pure Heaven.
