I mean, dont get me wrong , it's your opinion to use what you want, but playing stuff that sounds great on a small simple kit sounds better. PLUS.. if your going to use a big kit, at least set it up right O_o Would've been a decent cover if you didnt try to be flashy/turned cymbal mics down (if you're even using any) , and if you would've just ended the video at the end of the song.

3 years later I bet your drumming has come a long way. Igor was one of my most influential favorites. Roots is one of the easier ones but good job with it. That kit with the cymbals is probably $4-5k easy.

only a small complaint, tune your drums. Alot of people dont notice, but i played for 17 years. Good drummers can sound better if they know how to tune a drumset. Aside from that, cool vid man.

for all the guys wondering what the bar holding his toms and cymbals is...its a called a rack....looks something like a gibraltar GRS-850DBL ..the drums are tama rockstars..mine have birch and bass wood shells....his shells may be different depending on what year they were made....i rock clear remo ambassadors "finger tight" on bottom and evens ec2s on top and there slightly tighter then bottoms...i also rock emad 2,s but i dont like them...stick to remo power stroke 3 with a pillow in your kick

Well, it actually isn't. Sepultura was formed in 1984, where i was supposed to be a trash- and deathmetal band. When Max Cavelera leaved, he wanted to create something different, so he combined the heavy metal, with trash-, groove- and nu-metal, with tribe inspired music, and got Soulfly. It is not the same band, because the lead vocalist is from the other band.

Actually the band got split up because Max's wife bacame their manager between Chaos and Roots. Alot of fraternal friction happened. It was definately more personal than musical, especially since Roots was going in that Tribal meets Nu-Metal thing anyway.
