  • hello, I have a question for you. I have this pack is a perfect pack for me and since its big enough i carry it on 1-2 days hicking. I need a waist strap for it like the one that rush 72 has, is it available to order is separetly? and if it is where can i buy it from ? thank you very much and very nice review

  • Great review, thanks for all the detail and for showing lots of angles.

  • Do you know where I can buy a waist strap to attach to this? I want to buy it, but I want the waist strap and i cannot find one.

  • One of the best purchases I've ever made. Definitely a great investment. Bag is very well built and will definitely hold up for continuous uses out in the field. I highly recommend getting one if you don't have one already.

  • I've just ordered my rush 24 love the review.. just wondering where you got the waterprooof box from and the dimensions of it.. looks a perfect size for me

    Thanks

  • Thanks for the thorough review. I have been contemplating purchasing this pack. After watching, I will be placing an order. Thank you.

  • Very informative review, thanks.

  • Great review!

  • Where did you film this?

  • @slipstreamjc

A retailer that I buy some of my 5.11 kit from gave it to me due to spending soooooo much money with him.

I wish 5.11 would sell patches as so many people want them.

  • @slipstreamjc

    Hi,

This was filmed at Capstone Country Park. About six miles away from me.

    Why do you ask?

    MKR

  • where did you get the patch from mate?

  • Hi Runner,

the Grimlock and Carabier are both made by ITW Nexus you can get them from all over the web.

    Regards,

    MKR.

  • Very good review. It looks like you have a Maxpedition Grimloc on the front of your pack. What brand is the larger caribiner on the bottom-right of the front of your pack?

    Thanks

  • What kinda watch do you have there boss?

  • @Juice56107

That was a Luminox Blackout, not used very much now as I have replaced it with a 5.11 HRT Titanium. Much better! ;0)

  • @milkitreviews what is the plate for the back made of and can it be easily replaced if bent or something?

  • @Ballisticbob517

The back plate is made of plastic, yes it could be easily replaced if needed, however I really cant see why you would ever need to.

    Regards,

    MKR.

  • excellent review Sir! I've really had a hard time finding good quality reviews on this pack and this is the best I've seen. Thanks for the information and I've added one of these in Black onto my christmas list!

  • @AirForceAce3571

Thanks for your response. I am pleased you liked it and found it of use to you.

Good luck with your christmas list.

  • Very helpful review, thank you. I believe I'm sold on your video!

  • Great review!! How well protected and how easy to access would a laptop be in there? How about putting it in the hydration bladder pocket?

  • @snareman95

    Hi,

Placeing the laptop in the bladder compartment would really depend on the size of the laptop.

The RUSH24 is not designed to carry a laptop, but that doesnt mean that you cant.

There is no padded compartment, but I place my 15 1/4" laptop in the 5.11 MPC case (see my review) and inside the main compartment, it works really well.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    MKR.

  • @MilKitReviews Checked it out. Nice review. So where do you put the MPC bag inside the Rush24? In the main compartment or in the bladder compartment? I don't know how much space there is within the bladder compartment if you have stuff like your power supply in the side pockets of the MPC. Just trying to figure out how easy access to the laptop is within the Rush24 if I have it loaded with a bunch of other stuff. Thanks!

  • @snareman95 I keep mine in the large pocket in the main compartment, it will not fit in the bladder compartment as it would be to thick.

  • @MilKitReviews I have a 15" Macbook Pro, so I'm thinking the size should be ok. How well protected would it be in the bladder compartment with that hard backing with the computer just by itself? If not maybe I'll go with the large inner pocket. LIke I said, I'm just trying to figure out what the easiest way to access it is, for instance if it was up in the overhead compartment on a plane.

  • Excellent review sir! I also own all 3 of the RUSH Packs (in black) and have taken the 24 to the middle east on deployment. They are absolutely the best packs I have ever owned. I also own the COVRT 18 when I want to go more incognito, and that is an excellent pack as well, not quite as durable as the RUSH packs but this was designed to blend in. Again, Thanks for the great review, keep them coming!
