Finally some tips for us xbox players. PC gets it too easy while we're still stuck with the glitches and whatnot so we have to curve our playing style to withstand against every class' OP aspect. (soldier and demon for ex. has a huge amount of ammunition and large splash damage). Good to see that not everyone has really been too consumed in the updates and sticks with the more aggressive playstyle of the console.

Now offensive style is much easier with this new fast-building sentry from last eng update. 3 seconds, only 1st level and shotgun.

@Sev07All4Music Eh, I've found that the new mini sentry is generally not a threat but a short term annoyance to any power class. I keep the old sentry for building offensively most of the time. At least you can build two with a full metal supply.

@ChozoFury hmmm.... i respectfully disagree... the only power class that really makes it go boom is the heavy, and if you have your wrangler the doubled fire rate and higher health nearly always gets him down...

the other thing is the explo classes, and your lvl1 sentry doesnt really have the advantage above those two either... the only option is retreat...

what i like about the mini is that you can just pop it in battle or while retreating and get away with a lot more than you would with a lvl1

@MrYobitchez 1. I'm used to xbox rules. 2. No alltalk is a good thing. 3. Snipers aren't using easy-mode mouse+keyboard. 4. My computer is shitty and can't run community maps more than 5 FPS. 5. I am poor and can't afford a new computer/upgrades. Yes, yes, yes! More turtle engies are converted to offensive engineering, the better. Very good point emphasizing the glorious shotgun. Shotgun is excellent weapon used on enemies who are distracted and wounded by your sentry. Laying down sentries and shotgunning bitches. That is the way of true engineer.

As a main scout I will say I am more afraid of an aware engy with a shotgun then his sentry. The shotgun is devistating.

Nice guide, lad. I disagree with your using shotgun over wrench at the same point-blank range, because the wrench crits often and the crits are incredibly powerful.

I played you once I believe and you really pissed me off before the end of the match. Which obviously means that you're doing your job well.

Great video that really covers the ideas of Offensive Engineering while adding quite a bit of much needed common sense. Really, there's no way to lose when you're an Offensive Engie if you know how to bounce back from any inconvenience.

Excellent work on the video. I noticed, however, that you said you were using an xbox for this... I was wondering which button you need to press to rotate sentry position on the xbox controller (for that matter, which button on the PC as well). Any info would only add to the already extremely helpful vid.
