  • Useless question # 67 - What is the substance they use to seal the slots in the book with ? Great organ as is all the Mortier of that class... this one being in excellent shape!

  • @Musicmany2k You can use synthetic varnish to seal the slots, but generally shellac ( a type of french polish) is used.
