  • It's too late to bring up BS like that. His 8 yrs as POTUS is almost over. Come up with something legit.

    Shit-for-brains.

  • What I KNOW is that your opinion stinks like a dead skunk's asshole. Bush is POTUS. MAC is the next one.

  • latest version I've heard was a "time horizon."

What I want to see is how they twist and worm out of years of claiming we are in Iraq "because the democratically elected Iraqi government wants us to be there." The drumbeat continued to say when they no longer wanted us there that we would leave.

Well, guess what, cowboy, the democratically elected government of Iraq doesn't want us to be there anymore. Are you going to respect that? Put up or shut up.

  • The solution to the war on "terror" is not to fight in Afghanistan! What the are they fighting against? An idealogie? How dumb! You'll fight their for a hundred years. You can beat a country to be democratic.

The solution is to get out of muslim lands... It doesn't take a genius to get the point.

  • i agree with you that we should get out of muslim lands, but the countries there wont get any better anytime soon.even countries that the west completely ignores dont get any better. saudi arabia is by far the most fortunate of all muslim countries because of the oil wealth, but look how twisted the political and ideological situation is their. the main reason for the US to leave the middle east is so that we can progress instead of waisting money on the violent mess that is the middle east.

  • "Violent mess" is an understatement. The place is full of goofballs. I wish it were feasible for us to be far away from there, but it isn't. It will get worse, maybe far worse, before it gets any better.

  • if we stay or if we leave will make no difference in the long term in the middle east. the only difference is how much money we are willing to spend. the US is a good country to be the worlds superpower compared to China or Russia. we need to salvage our treasuries if we want to continue leading the world.

  • Yeah, it will help. Westernize their crazy asses enough, and radicalism won't be appealing. They'll want their cars, homes, good food, porno, and the good life like anyone else.

  • you care about iraqis too much. think about americans.

  • I am thinkin of Americans - long term. I don't particularly give a tinkers damn about Iraqis. They haven't been able to govern themselves in eons. Were the ME to disappear tomorrow, I'd party my ass off. I'm sick of those fucks - all of them.

  • who what shoo soo ioo

  • You are ill-informed. Yes in the beginning of Clinton's term the economy was doing well as a result of the stock market. He was also balanced out by a republican senate so he could not go around raising taxes willy nilly like he wanted to. So the economy did good during his first term, "no thanks to Bill Clinton at all." Why do you think we have such a large deficit? Because of conservatives who cut taxes and fight to end earmarks and pork-barrel spending?!NO! It's the tax and spend left!

  • you are a blank slate.

  • Judging by the way you used that term, I would bet you don't know what "blank slate" means. Go google it and pretend that you knew. F-it! A newborn baby can be considered a blank slate being that it has not experienced life and has no biases or set way of thinking. You obviously didn't understand that term being that you used it incorrectly.

  • Bill Clinton was a liberal. during his 8 years of presidency the economy soared and he were making so much money that no one knew what do do with it. look at us now. over half of a trillion ($1,000,000,000,000) dollars in deficit and an extra ten to twelve billion dollars($12,000,000,000) a MONTH are being spend on the Iraq war. Bush created the most ideotic economic policy our nation has ever enacted by offering tax cuts to the richest americans and leaving behind the middle class and poor.

  • That last part is also ridiculous. Keep drinking that Obama cool-aid. The Bush tax cuts saves the average American $1,500 a year AND it creates jobs because of course it goes by percentage. If a business is given a tax break it can use that money towards other things which create jobs. Forceully taking money through taxes is anti-free market and only hurts the economy. If people aren't willing to pay for it, it probably isn't worth paying for.

  • i just would like to know why our gdp increased 2% and middle class wages decreased $1000.

  • Not sure where you are getting these figures. I'm assuming you're just arbitrarily throwing out numbers like most people. Anyway, lots of reasons. Taxing and spending, the high gas prices and Nancy Pelosi turning out the lights on the Senate floor to obstruct democracy on a vote to finally drill for American oil, companies being forced to hire illegals in order to stay in business and therefore driving down salaries for Americans. The left thinks they know better than the free market.

  • that may explain the wages decreasing???????? so who is getting rich?

  • Its because our econ is completely in the toilet! Sky's fallin, shit's hittin the fan, game over, we're all boned!

    Or so says the libs.

  • huh? did you read what i wrote correctly?

  • lol.u know why.

  • Vote McCain and watch America slide further into chaos...say good-bye to America. OBAMA 08

  • Your candidates are reversed. Say goodbye to the US under BO. MAC 08

  • Win in Iraq?? How in hell do you win an occupation??

  • obama should be leading by 100 points...but conservatives get all their info from sean heanity.

  • are you still on the two party game? seriously...you think obama is as good as we can get? im not rallying for mccain...lets face it...before us, we have two bowls of shit

  • Then why isn't he? Because he's the least qualified candidate to emerge in how many decades? What, the least qualified ever? The man is all fluff w/o spine to stand up even to his wife.

  • all of the best presidents have had little experience and all the worst (Nixon...) have had by far the most experience. if obamas experience says anything, it says that he will be a great president in 2009.

  • I have no clue what experience he has that would constitute "good experience." He's never run anything, been in high-stress positions, or had command of a large group of people or bureaucracy.

I wouldn't expect him to be capable of running a mid-sized firm much less the USA. I also don't see any character traits that would serve him during difficult times - which are inevitable. His "ethics" are questionable at best. These are not good leadership traits.

  • like bush's prior experience

  • Bush was a fighter pilot. Have any idea how difficult it is and how many phsyical and psyche tests are needed to become one? That alone qualifies his tons. His dad was a former pres, and Bush was gov of one the largest states in the nation. He has degrees in history and business.

He was way more qualified than Barfy Obama. He has some spine too - something Barfy needs to develop.

  • prior experience at ruining every organization he ever touched. he graduated with straight "C"s and his dad's connections helped him get land a spot when he should not have been flying then he opts out of vietnam i am cautious about obama but he is way better than bush

  • So what? Were you your "best" in college? Probably not.Ever study biz? I have. It's boring as shit. Dad's connections = fighter pilot? No way in hell. Not going to Vietnam? Probably the greatest disappointment of his life.

You know little about those guys do you? Fighter pilots are true badasses.

  • john mccain's "experience" was fighting a democratically elected government in the vietnam war where millions of innocents were killed by napalm. john mccain was a fighter pilot and personally was responsible for many needless deaths. the iraq war is draining our treasuries and bankrupting our nation as well as crippling our millitary defences. he is literaly aiding terrorists by bringing us down. there is no concievable way that Obama could do worse that what McCain has stated that he will do.

  • MAC's got a steel spine. No one can argue that. Its precisely whats needed by the CIC. He was fightin the soviets, or did u forget? Communism was stopped cold there.

We're at war, numbnuts. A serious one. Terrorists are gettin their asses handed to them. Had Hussein not been taken out, there would be TWO Irans in the region and not just one. Yeah the war costs a lot. Freedom ain't cheap. BO wants to give those funds to the UN. What BS.

  • my god. mccain did not fight the soviets. the United States funded the Taliban and the Taliban fought the Soviets in Afganistan. your buddy mccain wants to spend $10,000,000,000.00 or more a month (ten billion plus) of our money on a useless war. Bush n' McCain have done what Osama Bin Laden could never have dreamed of, bankrupting the richest and most powerful nation in the world. and Iran and Iraq were enemies before the war. without saddam Hussein, Iran is now more powerfull than ever.

  • who do you think were supporting the Cong anyway? what were they flyin and what missiles were they shootin. It's wdely believed that they had pilots there too.

The war ain't bankrupting us. The damn social programs Barky and pals promote is what hurts. The GDP was up 2% last qtr.

Iran now has to contend with the US and ally next to them. They're sweatin bullets. Were we not in Iraq & Afghan, there would be near no way to conventionally attack them.

    You're argument sux.

  • "Were we not in Iraq & Afghan, there would be near no way to conventionally attack them."

listen to yourself. you just admitted what Bush and McCain have been trying to avoid all this time. we didnt attack and bomb innocent civillians to help the iraqis or the Afgans. we didnt invade to getr rid of their WMD's which never turned up. we attacked so that we could have a better strategic position to launch attacks on free nations which disagree with our ideology.

  • Ideology has nothing to do with it. A terrorist state developing nukes, and we're the primary target is the reason to be there.

Hussein had WMDs. They were trucked to Syria. He also served as an example to all the crazy fucks who think like him. They're drunk on oil $ and think they can defeat the "Great Satan." They're sadly mistaken.

  • you must be crazy if you think that Iran would launch a nuke at the USA. we have the most powerful and advanced weapons in the world and would cause more devastation there than anything the world has ever seen.

Russia has 16000 nuclear weapons with 5,830 warheads active. The US has much less. Why is it that when crazy arab groups say they have the desire to one day get a nuke we need to launch a full scale invation on unrelated countries. Pakistan actually has nuclear weapons but we dont invade.

  • You don't understand how the Iranian govt thinks. 1. They don't think a nuke holocaust is a ngative thing. It means the return of the 12th Imam. It's been prophecized, and they believe it. 2. They think the US will change its foreign policy like Japan did. 3. A strike against the US will unite all Muslims behind them - 1.2B of 'em.

That's how they think they can beat us.

Pak is an ally. I'd like to take their nukes away from them.

  • most muslims are not extremists and would not see a nuclear attack on the US a positive thing because it will certainly lead to many millions of muslim deaths. if there was a strike against the US then most of the Muslim world and the rest of the world would be united behind us. look what happened after 9/11. what would have been seen as an unjustifiable invasion before the attacks was seen as a reasonable measure afterwards.whenever a nation is attacked it has much more support for its actions

  • What you just said is basically true. The big BUT is that there are MILLIONS of extremist crazy fucks in the ME. They're the problem w/no good solutions.

Iran is an example. The govt is extremist, and they're supported by millions in Iran. Probably more don't support the govt than do, but its a major problem.

  • I just think that given that the vast majority of Middle Easterners are not hostile, we should use deterents that dont bring mayem to the region. whenever a western power causes massive casualties in arab lands we always cause a rise in extremism in the region. Since the "war on terror" began, terrorist groups have been overwhelmed with new recruits. the USA has become much less safe by any means of measurement. if we dont cause damage then the support for exremism will dry up. thats how to win.

  • The problem with your logic is that to do nothing is perceived as "weakness" further inspiring the original perps. There are millions of financial supporters for the extremists.

The military works on the premise of the "Dominant Position Strategy," which, explained simply, means that it doesn't matter what they do. We still win.

The only way to assure that is to kill 'em. That affirmatively dissuades them absolutely.

  • And most Americans are fanatical christians.

And you do know that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, right?

  • And Obama is willing to listen and learn. Having many ideas on how too fix this country will make a bigger difference than just one. I really feel that Obama will listen to the people. And thats what we need.

  • Willing to listen and wiggle is more like it. "Shuck and jive" is more appropo, but I'd be acused of racism.

We need far more than what pretty-boy, dope smokin BO has to offer.

  • mccain and bush are like oh snap we have to start listening to the people...yeah thats going to last.

  • Check out the Obama-Iraq war documentary on YouTube, you can find it in my favorite vids.

Obama has changed his position on Iraq countless times, he's a flip-flopper that said he would have troops out of Iraq in 16 months max and now he says he 'refining' his Iraq policies once again.

Anything to get elected. Typical Demoshit.

  • The iraqis want a withdrawl, americans want a withdrawl and now the iraq president supports obama's 16 month timetable as well. Ihen the bush admin jumps on the bandwagon and follows obama's lead.

  • they're so fucking right it's not even funny

  • This vid is absolutely right.

  • "MAJORITY" of EXTREMISTS that fear a Democratic and Free society MAYBE!!! Of course the citizens would like to see the day their Liberation is complete, and that is why the populace, out from under the constant threat of reprisal are now free to embrace and assist that goal (which they ARE). However the radicals are in despair that Democracy and Freedom will take root and "POUR" across borders as it does everywhere it gets a foothold, extinguishing all tyrrany in it's path!!!!

  • ron who? lol

  • "Goals for Transtition" my ass. Typical of Bush doublespeak. Just like the the troop escalation was not an escalation at all. It was a "surge".

  • Good story Cenk, but the second poll (which is more important in winning te war on terror, Iraq or Afghanistan), is EXTREMELY suggestive. As if winning one will lead to winning the war on terror while completely ignoring the other one.. Keep it real Cenk!

  • Or, you could leave the failed Ron Paul revolution alone, and go to the Democrats, who are known to increase your wages for middle class families by more then two, while Republicans are known to do the opposite!

Really, no one gives a crap about Ron Paul anymore. Spamming this stuff won't do a damn thing to change it. THE PRIMARIES ARE OVER.

Plus, most of those links have NOTHING to do with Ron Paul! Plus, we already KNOW Cheney sucks, we don't need anyone to tell us that.

  • I know that this is a little off course BUT< I was just wondering if there is a real explanation that the "Democratic majority in both the house and Senate" have only a 9% (yes thats 9% < less than 1 IN 10) approval rating. Astounding that George Bush has "roughly 3 TIMES the approval rating at some 30+% percent). I was kinda figuring that the hostile, vindictive politics of the majority has deflated the Bush Approval rating by at least half leaving a 70% "realtime" approval rating for BUSH!

  • I heard 19% for Bush and 11% for congress. Congress let people down by protecting bush from impeachment.

  • Saving face is so childish. It smacks of immaturity and insecurity.

  • (-:

You really don't know shiite and sunni, the day after your withdrawal you will face another ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN(Q) filled with war between different groups and supporting radical islamists.

  • so be it. How is that american business anyway?

  • It is not... more people has died in Iraq than in 9/11.

  • hmm, but you said withdrawal will result in an islamic republic and radicalism, which sounded like you're not in favor of a withdrawal.

  • Yes, I think USA attack to iraq and regime change was totally wrong. Saddam and it's regime was the only force that could keep islam in control. Now he is dead, iraq is a democracy and without any doubt the output of democracy in countries like Iraq will be radical offensive islam. you will see that i a blink of eye after your withdraw. You think how those muslims in iraq think about israel or US? US has to stay in IRAQ may be even for 10 years.

  • you will see that even Obama has to change its position from gradually withdraw (that he has changed already from immidiate withdraw!) to "US stays"! There is no other way. shiite want sunnis dead, and vice versa, (deep inside their beliefs) kurds has their own territory and there is a lot of oil to fight for! add to this blend us oil companies interest. the income would be war and war and more war! you will see that.

  • Turkey and Iran will attack kurds, shiite try to kill sunnis and each neighbor countries will support this or that group. and after all iraq will become wonderful place for alqade! You don't understand that we are no more living in our country isolated from others. we live in a connected world. If they play war games in iraq you can't just watch it from you TV! it will become your problem too.

  • So what?! people that died in Iraq are matter to you and me, not to those who make wars for their own benefit. they don't care about people.

  • who voted thumbs down?

And, you know, i think that's fair enough. That might well happen, but i'd like another solution to this which includes a withdrawal. That could be achieved if it really was a US goal (as claimed) to provide the means to keep strict order in iraq by supplying basic police/military training and weapons. That would allow for a little sovereignty in iraq, and thats important. The US presence there is unbearable, from a political point of view.

  • THose military training and supplies that Iraqi military received will be used for war in near future not to keep country safe.

In my opinion the only way is what US did in japan or germany after wwII war. They should destroy the foundation of violence that is different versions of radical islam.

  • Maliki's comment was mistranslated. He wanted clearer plans for withdrawal or staying, but the office sent it out wrong. I'm not saying the Iraqi government or people don't want it, but Maliki hasn't made such a statement yet. Check it out TYT.

  • Props to the Iraqi govt not knuckling under to our pressure. Bush wants a deal for permanent bases and they're not giving it to him. Bush even froze aid payments and said he was going to use the money to pay off some questionable outstanding Iraqi debts...unless, of course, they rubber-stamped his plan for bases in Iraq, indefinately. Extortionist in chief!

And there is no confusion among the Iraqi people whatsoever. Internal polls generally run around 90% wanting immediate US withdrawal.

  • man..i wanna know what makes people chat shit (in the case of america) ..get the fuck outta there..goals of transitioning...what the fuck ?

  • I thought the Iraq war had been justified like 27 times already...

  • It's going to justify staying after the parliament elections in October...
