  • I have taken As level Chemistry,Physics and Maths(P1,S1) is it possible to give the exams in May/June since I have just started now and only 5 months are remaining or should I give the exams in November ..

  • sin^-1 (0.5) = 33, why have u got 30?

  • @balochan1 Why have you got 33? it is 30

  • @ExamSolutions When put that into calculator, it gives me 33.3.......(reoccuring)

  • Everyone calls me Einstein! I must do good in my A-Levels, LOL! I want t go into medicine, so I'm revising and revising and revising. :)

  • "ALL SCIENCE TEACHERS CRAZY" This what i was taught

  • gosh I really hate trig.

  • ur voice is scarier than the exams lol

  • thankyou so much, my c2 exam is on friday and i think you may have saved me!

  • @theshew0lf It would be nice to think so. Good luck.

  • @ExamSolutions @theshew0lf same here tomos is my exam, you have save my butt, i tried listening in class but it was difficult to understand it due to the teacher thinks we get this part and moves on too fast :\

  • I use this at work to work out stress around tunnels!

    Add Sugar To Coffee! :D

  • Thank you sooooooooooooo much.

    Its so helpful.

    All Silver Tea Cup ;)

  • @Vsparkle24 That's ok

  • That was very easy, i only took me about 15 seconds to get both angles, with a calculator of course...

  • My teaccher taught us All Students Take Cocaine....yikes.

  • this is useful thanks

i use All Silly Tom Cats

or my teacher says CAST diagram

  • Thank you so much. I am working toward my doctor's degree in science. I plan to become a astronaut. This was very helpful! :]

  • @Darkwarrior562 That's very impressive - Good luck

  • I use "Add", "Sugar", "To", "Coffee". :D this seems better to me cause i drink coffee every fregin day haha :P cool video really nice i understood everything with no problem at all :D thanks soo much.

  • @ThePsycheoutFanClub Thanks - you must be on one hell of a high with all that coffee.

  • Did this at GCSE.

  • I love this video!!! Thanks a lot!!!

  • @akurusensei Thanks

  • Wow this is so hard i'm only on a B grade lol!

  • "All Students Try Cheating" is how i remember it :D .. thank you nice video =)

  • Thank you!

I found these questions in the past papers, but we didn't do them in class so i wasn't sure--but i am now thanks to this video!

    =D

  • hmmm... why don't you count that angle can actually be not only 30 and 150, but also any angle which fits in (30+2Pi*N) and (150+2PN), where N is a natural number?

  • hey can you do some more vidoes about the basics we need to know for A level maths . i chose maths for a levels next year lol so i really would appreciate if you could help me out :D

  • Thanks very much, can you do more video on that please?

  • im startin a level math next year and im scared

  • @1080portal If you want some help with Maths, try our website: ExamFox? We do online tuition and the first lesson is free.

  • @1080portal chicken

  • @1080portal you started it now, how is it? :P

  • @cool1990ify i want my mummy XD

  • @1080portal Haha, are you doing AQA? If so, good luck with the exam on Wednesay... I'm scared.

  • All Science Teachers are Crazy =p

  • All Science Teachers Cry

  • i'm doin' A level maths next year, hope i can manage. i did my math gcse a year early and was 2 marks from an A, and only revised for 2 days so hopefully i'll understand most of the A level syllabus.

  • Nice.. I recommend finding a gd ebook online (warez or w/e) and just soaking as much up as you can before you start your A-Level. Sounds like youve got a great memory =]

  • I'll try that, thanks.

  • unless your Einstein, there is not where you can revise maths A level the night before and pass...

  • Actually Einstein was quite poor at math, he relied on others like hamilton to formulate the mathematics behind his ideas.

  • i dont get it :S

  • @icecreamwaffles Don't worry I wouldn't expect someone that hasn't learned A-level maths to understand. It's a great revision video though. Cemented what I learnted a while ago (i'm in uni doing an engineering degree now).

  • all silver tea cups

  • brilliant, i owe you man thanks alot

  • All Snow Tastes Cold

  • how did you get 30 degrees? Is it because .5= 1/2 and 1/2 is one of those special numbers on the unit circle??????

  • just put it in calculator :P

  • all silly tom cats

  • sometimes, in mark schemes and stuff, there are 4 angles found, how do u know when u hv to find 2 or when u hv to find 4 :S

  • look at the range given such as 0<x<360, -180<x<180, n so on....hope it helps

  • lol a better ryhm is All sausages turn cold

  • thanks the help was wikid! better than my AS teacher at the moment.

  • All School Teachers Curse

  • All Students Take Crack

  • this is easy guys

  • Its the other way around...All Crew To Stations! Doh!

  • Thank You#!

  • Thanks very much

  • hey great video, thanks.

but what happens when given a negative value? i find that a bit confusing

  • now, how do you solve for this equations without a calculator? thats what i need to know . ..

  • But what about the other angles... since your range was between 0 - 360 degrees...?

  • sin0(thay-ta)is only postive .5 in quadrants one or two. meaning we only have 2 angles where sin (thay-ta are postive) for the given range

  • Yes but it is given that sine is positive , and it is positive only in the first 2 quadrants

  • don't we use radians in a levels?

  • Yep and degrees

  • well done.

but that's really not a rhyme.

  • very clear =)thanks

  • good work. but be bit fast and explain in depth. thx

  • to remember what quadrant counter clock wise A ll, S tudents, T ake, C alculas

  • Asian Students Take Calculus

  • And for all you lads out there... All Sluts Take Cock

  • All Sexy Teens Cum.. lol chaz nice one:P

  • die kalio

  • "A Silly Trig Concept" is what I was taught.

  • A ll,S tudents, T ake, Cocaine

  • what do we have to use this in life for?

  • Solving involving sine waves is useful in many real life situations where wave functions are used. Such as in music, radio waves, sound waves, oscillations in vibrating materials, ultra sound in medicine to quote only a few examples.

  • sin²x+cos²x=1 everytime =)

  • Well done. I love trigonometry!

  • ;) thanks!!! very nice mnemonic trick the one of Sin+Tag+Cos+ ;)

  • is this on the gcse syllabus?

  • No, but you can use it if you wish. It is studied for A/S level.

  • oh ok thanks

  • thanks alot do u have solutions for p3 s1 and mechanics

  • thanks for that! reall helpful! hope to see more!

  • holy cow, saved me a lot of work. thank you for posting such a good video. -Student from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.

  • That was really useful, u explain it alot better than my teacher does...thanks
