I actually grew tired of the vanilla game a long time ago & right now only enjoy custom maps :/
& ever since I stopped playing vanilla, nothing has been added that made me interested enough to get back to vanilla. I think that says something about the development of MC by itself.
You should record with "DxTory" try it out, its a lot less alggy and more customisable... check it out.. to remove the watermark get full version (torrent :) )
I love Minecraft too, but I'm not looking at Mojang for more fun and enjoyment, I'm looking at the community. And by being the oldie and doom sayer: Dead by April!
(cont.) Its just like how I used to play Legos. Put every piece one by one, if you mess up then fix the part manually with no magic tricks to change colors or readjust. That is just how I see it. I like mods that make the game fun but creative wise. All I need is space and my trusty wool.
(cont.) As for the Creative side. I have always been able to get by with colored wool. I do agree creative modification would be great such as using the Voxelbox tools (and I checked I am listed on the Voxelbox server. See you on there) It would just be more for me to get used to and if and update comes out and breaks it. I would feel foreign to the game as how it is. I naturally play every game on default to make it less of a hassle. (cont.)
First I have to say Amazing Review. Also coming from a person who doesn't use mods or texture packs. I have to agree MineCraft is like legos for me. Also if it wern't for the community and the amazing people. I would probably have quit within a month of playing Minecraft. I was fortunate to play on the MCWB Server at my starting ground. However, I do enjoy the survival of the game as the feeling of death and creepiness arrives; I still get jumped by a skeleton or creeper about to get me.
I didn't like the 1.8 and up optimization. I have been having Memory crashes a lot, and they are from stupid things. I have loaded up 800 TNT blocks and set them off, make giant creepers and loading them up with TNT, but now it's just the persistant animals crashing my game.
@invis45 True to a sense, but not totally. As many says, Minecraft gives you what you put in it. If you're imaginative, it will baffle you back (with or without mods). I agree on one thing though, (according to mods (and not being a mod user myself)), the mods show us that Minecraft could be so much more.
I agree with you :)

Without the ability to mod, minecraft would be very bland and repetitive.
Make crafting table
Make wood pick
Get coal
Make stone pick
Make dirt hut
But with mods it's puts in so much more to do, and that makes people more creative

4:50 I agree, Minecraft is like legos... not based on blocks... but limited to the "Users" Imagination...

@Cosmo123123c3
It is like Legos. I played with Legos alot when I was little, and I still collect the 3000 piece collector's editions.
That's probably why I like Minecraft.
