  • That's tight!!!

  • Do you need to use an external hdd or can i use an 8gb usb flash drive?

  • My Wii is red... I got the limited edition one. ;}

  • @poeticmonkey nobody cares

  • i have homebrew to hack private lobbys in BLops, but i dunno how to do all this modding... are all those games free and is this illegal?

  • safe to say u enjoy mario? ahah

  • that was pretty sexy

  • Awesome man. Just awesome.

  • @eaanddee:

It's not really new, just over-looked by most because the original modders got hooked on usbloader gx and cfg loader even though those can't compare to Wiiflow.

  • Yeah I feel ur frustration...I also installed homebrew on v4.3u without any clear tutorials on how to do it. Ur videos are simple to follow. This should be good for people that want to install homebrew but dont know how. So WiiFlow must be something new huh??

  • I just post How to Soft-mod your Wii Step 2- Backing up your nand and installing priiloader for extra protection against un-wanted disk and online updates. Priiloader also allows you to restore your Wii in the case that a problem occurred down the road.

The next video will be Step 3- Installing a custom ios (CIOS), a cios is needed to run apps like Wiiflow or USBloaderGx. In the 4th video, I'll show you how to successfully install Wiiflow so you can play games from a hard drive or usb stick.

  • I just posted Step 1 of "How to soft-mod your Wii"-Installing The Homebrew channel. Homebrew Channel is what you will need to install in order to further modify your Wii console with apps such as Wiiflow, USBloader Gx, or NES Emulators. If you have the Homebrew Channel installed already, be patient as I'll bring you the rest of the series soon. There are a few other decent tutorials out there if you'd rather not wait.

  • @MAFIA100k:

I'm working on the Wiiflow tutorial over the next couple days actually. Ad far as the games, download WBFS Manager and use it to copy games to your storage device. It'll even extract .rar files automatically. I'll let you know as soon as I get the tutorial up, I had to wait for an extra softmod job before I could make it happen but I'm chopping video now.

  • i need a tutorial fast,on downloading and installing usb loader gx,wiiflow and taking the 2 games i downloaded to my 4gb flash drive

  • @btthepunk:

I added a link to the WiiFlow download site to the description above. Down load the version that's compatable with your cios, example: mine is cios 249. You want to put it in your "apps" folder on your SD card and make sure you name it "wiiflow". the "boot.dol" file needs to be visible in the wiiflow folder for homebrew to find it.

  • @btthepunk:

No, Wiiflow has to be installed by copying the correct files to your SD card (or hard drive) and accessed from your Homebrew Channel. After you have Wiiflow working, you can install what's called a Wiiflow Forwarder Channel (like mine in the video) so you can access Wiiflow by clicking the channel instead of going through the Homebrew Channel.

  • Is WiiFlow not on the homebrew channel? How do I get it?

  • @MrLocalguy:

Yes, you do need to have the Homebrew Channel installed. My favorite method is The Smashstack, it's quick and easy but you have to have the Super Smash Bros original disk. After I got the Wii modded I sold every game except for Smash Bros just so I could use it for future modding.

  • To install this do you need the homebrew channel?

  • I usually don't comment on these videos but this is worth the comment. Can't wait for the tutorial. Great job!

  • @thewiickedness-

THANK YOU!! My covers are perfect now. I think maybe the last time I tried the auto cover download thing I forgot to set up the wifi connection first and that's why I kept getting an error. That was all I need to make my Wii perfect. I got all my games from wiiiso.com but they didn't have extras like covers. guess you do have to use the auto cover download.

Oh and @linkachu64: I've never had a problem playing anything online either, I've tested with about 15 games so far.

  • @linkachu64:

No problem, be sure to subscribe!

  • @linkachu64:

Yes, this is WiiFlow 2.2. You can still play online, a big "must" is installing Priiloader and using it to block online updates before you do too much online activity. I play Mario Kart quite often so I can give you a yes for that too. I will be putting together a series of tutorials soon on every stage of the soft-modding process from the Homebrew Channel all the way to the theme changing and more so hit the subscribe button and stay tuned!

  • @TheWiickedness Ok thanks alot, will stay tuned and hopefully when I get my next Wii, you can guide me through it =]

  • @0909erick0909:

If you can see the covers at all, they're in the right folder. WiiFlow uses 3D Boxcovers and you should use the built-in cover downloading feature within Wiiflow itself to get them. First go in and delete the covers you manually put in, then click "download missing".

  • That's pretty cool! I actually have my Wii softmodded but did a really poor job installing the games of something cause the covers look nothing like the ones in your video. I downloaded them from the web and put them on the sd card but they look out of place... maybe I put them in the wrong folder??

  • This is a really great video man, I had a Wii in the past but sold it although I am getting one again soon so I can do some Let's Plays of some games without having to emulate them. Looking around on the internet and YT, am I correct in assuming this is 'WiiFlow'? If so, will you be doing a tutorial on how to install/run things like that? Can I also just ask, if you do install something like this to your Wii, do you still have online capabilities, for example, online racing in Mario Kart Wii?
