Okay....I'm not sure about this, anyone's guess is as good as mine, but to me this song is about him owning up to his shit with someone. It's like saying "listen, I know I screwed up, but I've been through hell to be here with you. I'm not asking you to forgive me, just let me prove to you that I'm here to stay this time." It's so deep and sweet and just....wow. I love this song so, so much. Maybe I'll go as far as to say it's one of Rise's best songs period.

@boss155100: Ohhh...god some of my favorite kines in the song. In my opinion it starts the song off well, and paints an immediate picture of what's happening. It just helps to create the image of the weariness that's implied in the chorus. "Clock strip the hours, I count the miles" is like saying "time's passing too slow and all I can do is pay attention it." The overall song, I think, is him trying to get someone to take him back by showing her that he'll do anything for her.

Not to mention it's one of the most original sounds I've ever heard....It just blows me away.
