No need for a remake. They'd only ruin it. How many games have anything other than sparkly flashy pixels to impress people like a fishing lure to a fish?

This is good because the story is driven by its nature. The medium says anything goes. Nowadays however. Games are written to either flatly shock or conform.

Sex, violence and other themes are no longer intwerwoven with any intelligence behind it. There isn't much at all in terms of story. Nor Cause and effect for realism.

@WildBuck007 Well, that's pretty negative and dim way of looking at things. There are still a few gems out there in the sleeves to pluck out.

And it's not as if the past hasn't made horrendously terrible games themselves.

I'm all for the support of retro gaming, but I don't think that means we should ignore the few modern stories in games that deserve a chance.
