Yes, ferral pigeons from Atlanta GA. I live downtown. I have such a love for these birds, I think they sensed that I was a safe human. I mostly gained their trust through food and kind words. I am convinced they knew the names I gave them. One named Crow used to come in the window and act like a puppy wagging his tail. He was my first "pet" pigeon, even though he was ferral. It took about a year before any of them trusted me enough to come inside.
