  • who didnt know what that meant lol.

  • being born in the 90s sucks

  • @vivalakakarot I know but principles must have me ask WHAT WAS WRONG WITH 1990's MUSIC?

  • @Wisconsin222 no its the fact that i was born in the 90's so i don't really remember hearing any of the music from then. I didn't start actually caring about music until the 2000s

  • @vivalakakarot Yeah I guess, after 2006 we still yet have to have music like we used too.

  • @vivalakakarot it does :(

  • @vivalakakarot Yeah totally, I hate being able to go on YouTube and listen to music like this.

  • @vivalakakarot : yes, it does...

  • whats a hoochie coochie man? (im french)

  • @CheezeyChannel a guy who likes pussy

  • @CheezeyChannel

In the late 19th century, 'hoochie coochie' was a dance which became popular after the Chicago World's Fair in 1893, where it was introduced. Later, hoochie coochie shows were very popular. Since the dance was performed by women, a ‘hoochie coochie man’ either watched them or ran the show. Alternatively, from the sexual meaning of hoochie coochie, meant he greatly enjoyed sexual intercourse, though Muddy did say originally the song was supposed to have a comic effect.

  • 2:50 - 3:15 extreme facial epicness music representation!!!

  • One of my favorite artists, period. Influenced a lot of folks' favorties, white and black.

  • You dont get music like this these days. It's kind of sad, in a way, all we can be thankful for is the legends that live on.

  • chuk berry tn?

  • this makes me want whiskey too....

  • trop cool Muddy :-)))

  • Now thats showmanship!!

  • Muddy Waters singing it LIKE A BAUWS!

  • And John Lee Hooker, too.

  • all them rand b singers worship illuminati the dum shitheads that is how they get famous but this this is real music

  • Theres Rythm AND Blues? Mercy, ive been listening to Rhianna!!!!!! nah not really but this is R'n'B

  • Is that Buddy Guy on guitar?

  • okay, minus the hair, McKinley (Muddy) resembles MLK Jr.

  • Why is it that young black people nowadays just wanna do hip hop and r n'b.and all that commercial shit. why cant we have some new fresh blood doing real blues. Although there are some great white blues men, dead and alive, aint nothing like a black man singing the blues.

  • @simonate1 Hip-Hop and R'n'B are not automatically "commercial shit". It wouldn't be hard to make an argument that there is plenty of music in those genres being made today that has just as much depth to it as this.

  • @joshisanonymous i would struggle to find anything made today that has this much depth. the reason is because all people are concerned with is dollars and bling bling. in Muddy Waters day it was about playing with balls and from the heart. But thats not my issue. When BB King dies there will be no one left to carry on the blues legacy. We need new blues men not more rappers.

  • @simonate1

Dude, blues has been and gone, it was an amazing era and some of the best musicians in the world were around at the time, so many people in world have been influenced by this music, it reflects in todays music!! what do you think r'n'b stands for??? so just because it doesnt have some harmonica playing or some guitar licks doesnt mean its not soulful or poetic! Tupac, was way ahead of his time, he was a man who died young doing something that came from his heart.

    broaden your horizon

  • @jamiemarshall1000 r 'n b and hip hop came from blues but that doesn't mean you can compare it to blues or say it has replaced blues. To say that blues has been and gone is crazy. The blues market today is still massive but there is no new stuff. Young black dudes shouldn't forget their true music roots. Artists today are only in it for dollars. Blues men played for survival.

  • @jamiemarshall1000 your fucking stupid if you honestly think all of that. Today's music has absolutely for a fact no soul into it. The lyrics some of the major artist's have is unbearable sometimes because they hardly thought about what they were writing even if they are writing the songs. A lot of today's artists don't even write any of there songs. Its honestly sad that you would compare something that had so much soul and musical talent to... honestly any r&b singer

  • although there are a few great white artists but the black blues is the soul and roots of blues of rock and jazz. Love you brother

  • Is that James Brown at 1:03?

  • im from the "new school" lol and i think muddy waters is one badass guy, his style is so dope

  • there is only ONE Muddy Waters

  • @Caper1Forever Actually out here in Oregon we have a plethora of muddy waters.

  • SOOOOO..........HEEAAAAVVYYY.

  • Thanks for sharing Muddy's music. I got to see him in 1976 at the KooL Jazz Fair, in Honolulu Hawaii, at the Waikiki Shell, I think it was a Three day fest, I was into rock music, but when I saw Muddy waters was going to play, I bought my ticket, none of my friends wanted to go because they were only rockers,& didn't care for jazz., I went &glad I did, what a super show he put on.... Blues legend Muddy Waters. This fest opened my eyes to all types of music....54 & still rockin

  • @Haaheomusic I'm watching The American Folk Blues discs, incredible stuff '62-'66 from europe (many clips on here ) and was trying to remember if Hubert Sumlin was playing guitar at the Kool Jazz thing...did a search & your comment popped up...I was thinking it was '77 but not sure..things be da kine hazy...i do remember Muddy came out after a warm up number by the band and just sat on his stool, staring at us like he just woke up for at least 1 song before he got cookin'

  • dude i ha a dream that muddy waters surprised me on my birthday and we were havin lunch at denny's

  • @ehrulz What a stupid, stupid question

  • Little known fact...Muddy Waters is Chuck Norris' illegitimate father.

  • @Pukapants70 He is only white because he didn't want people to say he's there because of his daddy. And by 'there' I mean 'Where the people who are more than gods lie'

  • @Pukapants70 Really lol?

  • @Pukapants70 huh?!

  • I got just one ball........it sticks out when I shop at the mall.......so get your club out and swing.......please just don't be mean

  • It should be mandatory for every young music student to get into the soul of such artists as Muddy Water, Robert Johnson, Howling Wolf and the like before even touching an instrument. This is the kind of music that goes in your ears and right to your damn soul.

  • @1LSUredneck I agree with Robert Johnson, but I prefer Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf to the other guys you chose

  • the man is a wise so so cool espectacular the blues his blood

  • :*)

  • I rather fck Lady Gaga any day.

Long as she dont open her mouth.

  • @FTblogg

    Eah man!

  • @dutchkollman The 7th is also flattened in a minor, so thank you for being superfluous

  • @dutchkollman All minor scales have a flattened 3rd relevant to the major, the 4th moves chromatically to the 5th because the 5th has been flattened

  • notice how he doesn't mention howlin wolf when he's talkin about great blues singers right at the end. I wonder why?

  • muddy waters invented electricity

  • @fraterlucifer888 Well at least electric mud

  • @fraterlucifer888 wasn't that a line in the movie Crossroads? either way its true lol

  • @fraterlucifer888 idiot...eelctricity is a natural state in existence not because of man Franklin harnessed it, Edison applied it, Tesla understood it

  • @deltapunk21 youre life must really suck if you cant hear the "electricity"(used as a descriptive metaphor) in Muddy Waters music, and youre probly just as much of a dick in real life as online, the rest of us are here to enjoy the man and his music

  • @deltapunk21 Ben Franklin didn't invent electricity, Ben Franklin is THE DEVIL!

  • @fraterlucifer888 ahh yes from the great movie "crossroads". loved that movie

  • @fraterlucifer888 Such a cool comment

  • @fraterlucifer888 actually les paul did, if your referring to the electric guitar

  • @fraterlucifer888 N I C E.....

  • oh yea

  • The blues is essentially a song in a minor key with a flattened 5th rather than 6th, relative to the major with the same root. Whoever invented western musical systems invented the blues.

  • @wisers001 has the brains god gave seafood....

  • luv dat nggr- mddy u rck!! my great papa was ur master that how i know u! PS - miss u!

  • @wisers001

    Wow.

  • Muddy RULZ!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what key is that harp in?

  • @ulas1986 Its a C diatonic harp... but you know... this clasical songs are converted vinyl to mp3 and the tune its out... Sorry for my english

  • I'm sure glad white folk appreciated, this, the real deal in Europe first, and then began to influence the U.S. to take a deeper look at it and recognize its brilliance because as usual we were on the verge of again throwing genius away.

  • @brotherap its another reason for not being racist i mean the blacks invented blues rock n roll two elements i cant live without

  • @AltamontKiller "the blacks invented blues rock n roll two elements i cant live without"

....And the stop light, air brakes, truck refrigeration, blood plasma, and a plethora of other inventions you can't live without. But in America denying and/or stealing the proper due from the poor, the gifted, the ingenious, was and still is a historical American art form, and probably necessary to reinforce the myths of superiority to everyone else here and around the world.

  • @brotherap dude thats deep.

  • @TommyRyan90 With the blues you don't always remember who you made the baby with

  • So glad I saw him perform. So much energy and great music.

  • We owe a heap to Leonard and Phil Chess,.......Chess Records

Two white Jewish guys that picked up on a vibe.

Music has no bounds...............proved by The Rolling Stones,

From one small stone, it keeps rolling on .........till it becomes an avalanche and gave us our rock today.

    Muddy was that stone.

  • Local moms are alone do you need to meet them naneedj.info
