never care for your accent, man, you've performed this very nice. At least you've put a lot of power in the song, what is more difficult since you perform alone,. Three cheers for you and shame on the large and famous Celtic groups who did this song impotently. Greetings from Poland!!
IRISHWOMAN TORTURED AND BURNT ALIVE BY IMMIGRANTS - HER SISTER SPEAKS OUT AND JUDGE CALLS HER A RACIST
“Justice in Ireland is sleeping while its people are dying,” Ms French told the Central Criminal Court.
“People with criminal records in their own country should never be allowed to live among us,” she said, referring to Mineikas and Dilys’s previous convictions in Lithuania.
“The country has enough to deal with."
Judge White described the statement as offensive; inappropriate; xenophobic;
I love your songs, I sing and play a little myself, if you dont mind me saying so, you've good reach in your voice, perhaps you should use the cappo to move things up a couple of semi-tones.. you seem more comfortable singing there...
Your follow me up to carlow is a difficult song to do... fair play for your version, but dont call it Gaelic... call it irish... gaelic makes you sound like a tourist.. when your heart is obviously really in it.. slán
I've watched all the other versions of this song on YouTube and this is the best yet! The simple sound of voice and guitar do an excellent job of telling the story of Fiach MacHugh.
Your accent is fairly good, but at first I thought this must be a Scottish ballad. Your style reminds me of Andy M. Stewart. :)
nicely song chara. the start sounded just like bardofcornwell. the pair of you are great. and btw its nice to see you uploading more songs. I reckon you could sing the men behind the wire really good. I'll post you a video of the song.
Glad to see you posting again; I really enjoy your music. I hope life as a former Soldier is treating you well. I like the current job title, "Cubicle Occupant." That's got style.

He said it like Germans would pronounce Leisa. (Layza)

Oh and I think Liza is pronounced Lee-za rather than Ly-za, it's from Elisabeth, referring to the English queen of the period.
