@nae6731 A little bit of research, some good planning, and time. Make a model, build a pattern off it, then sew it together. Then you just keep tweaking your pattern until you make it right. I know that sounds vague, but it doesn't matter as much if your first draft is hideous and malformed- it really starts to take shape in your later revisions. The best way is just getting a feel for sewing yourself and just carefully observing what you need to adjust.

It looks like you used black marker to trace out her pattern, you can see it though where her seams meet. Consider using a disappearing ink marker with the next one. ^_^
