  • these kids are very impressive. very aware of their position and excellent at articulating their feelings. i really wish their voices would receive more attention. they are the future.

  • I would say to the world...."I know why I'm special....what makes YOU so damn special? What makes you better than me? What gives you the right to judge me, when you're so emotionally handicapped that you can't even understand who I am?" What would you guys say? x

  • Love has NO qender !

  • When Kate blew a kiss, my heart melted! x

  • I want the world to know love is love no matter the gender, race, weight, hight, or anything else it's just love

  • I have to cry .. that is sad ..

Thank you Kate, that you do this subject!!

    Thats so lovely!

  • i feel so sorry for those poor kids, i wish every parents would be as awesome and understanding as my parents!

  • kate doesn't identify as straight, she just simply doesn't want to talk about her private love life and spread it like so many other stars! i think that it's her decision what to say or what not to say. and no matter whether she's gay or straight, i'll love her! (of course i'd prefer her to be a lesbian :D but to be realistic, how big are the chances for me to ever end up in bed with her anyway?!)

  • really great words! :)

  • kate is a amazing person sh just has such a big heart!!! I wish this documentary was publicized more...I think it could really change peoples views...

  • You are super beautiful Kate, salute to you, love you most not only your face and act, but your warmest hearts to those less lucky.

  • Wow, America seems like such a difficult place to live if your a GLBTQ Teen [no offense to any Americans]

  • To: x06shelbyx06: It depends on what area of America you live in. I live in West Hollywood, CA and i have never experienced this. I personally believe that these kids are dealing with bigger issues and sexuality is just one of them. These kids are dealing with parents that dong accept them, poverty, and racism.

  • it depends on where you live. if you live in california or the north east you have a better chance of being ok. im a lesbian, age 14, and i DO live in a home with my parents but we are already dirt poor. i came out at age 12, and i stayed at a friends that whole week for them to settle down. my parents and i dont get along at all. im never around them or fear of fighting, but atleast i have a house to live in

  • Kate seems to be so affected...

  • Yeah she does. Did u see where she wipes a tear away from her eye?? Its a subject close to her heart obviously.

  • omg this is amazing... they are so strong

  • this made my day.... I love their attitudes to fight for themselves.....Also to see how ignorant society is....

  • Well, it's amazing what Kate does with humans. I really apreciate what she's doing. But listen, here in Germany it isn't different.

  • makes me realise how f*cking lucky I am...

  • And the suicide rates for being unwanted!?! Very Sad.

  • I would love to work at one of these places.

  • me too :)

  • me too

  • this is so touching

    kate is a great ambassador

and an amazing inspiration to all GLBT's

  • this is so great..the responses to the question Kate asked "What do you want the world to know about LGBTQ?" are so remarkable and insighting.

  • Oh Wow! Its not just in America guys! We feel it in Europe too..
