Hazrat Hassan bin Thabit used to sing the praise of the Prophet (S) while SITTING IN FRONT OF HIM. He is one of the most respected sahabas. How can you call it something that was just created if it's been going on since the Prophet (S)'s time?

The children of Madinah sang songs (Tala'al badru alaina) to welcome Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) into the city after Hijrat. And the sahabis read naats also in praise of Rasoolallah (S). As long as there is no music, it is allowed. Please do your research before making such statements.
